Maya Inn Holbox Hotel

People are very nice and helpful here, they even give you coffee and tea. Room is simple but comfortable. Just 10 minutes walking to the beach and as you go through the main street you see almost all restaurants and bars.
Definitely would recommend it.

The location near the pier was a plus since we were leaving on the first ferry.  Hotel was quiet, had good showers, great beds, was very clean and had an exceptional pool area.
We plan on going back to Holbox this Winter and will definitely  stay here.

The staff at Maya Hotel Residence is very helpful and  accommodating. The pool and grounds are lovely and relaxing. The sounds of the palm tree fountain in the pool adds to the tranquility of the surroundings. The hotel is at the opposite end of the center, which makes this location quieter for those who wish to have a bit more seclusion from nightlife. Easy access to ferry and marina with a 5 minute easy walk to center and the beach. The rooms are spacious and our king room has a small veranda just outside the sliding glass doors with a bistro table and chairs. Overall we were quite pleased with Maya and will be back to visit again and would highly recommend this hotel. 

i was a little intimidated by a review about the rooms being rather damaged and uncomfortable. this is so not true.
the room was spotlessly clean, and though a lot of places have issues with little critters on holbox, this hotel did not.
the pool area is nice and familiar. tje pool was cleaned professionally while we’ve been there. it’s not in the center or the hotel-zone, but a slow-ten-min-walk away, which was a big fat plus:no fishy smell, silence and just a minute to the ferry. we felt so welcome because the staff is very friendly.

Very Nice Place

Quiet and peaceful!!!

nice little hotel at the harbour

Stay here if you are looking for a Christain retreat.  You will pray a lot.  You will pray that your air conditioner works, that your door locks, that the electric power doesn't go out the morning of your departure and you have to pack and dress in the dark, that if the hotel managers say they will be open until 10 pm for your golf cart return...that they really will be.  Overall....my advice...stay somewhere else!
