I stayed for 4 nights for a conference. The location is excellent but the attentiveness of the apartment owner is second to none. One of my most comfortable and cleanest and most manageable stays ever. Highly recommended for sure.

The location is amazing - located in the centre of it all (5 min walk to ferry, 5 min walk to central bus/taxi terminal, and surrounded by amazing attractions, restaurants, bars and grocery stores), reasonably priced and very friendly host. Light sleepers be warned, it can get a bit noisy with the cars/motorbikes on the road outside your window. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs and you will be fine. Everything else makes it worth it!  

Really surprised at how fantastic Valletta was as a destination and an experience enhanced no end by staying at VB Apartments.
Owner Alan was so helpful and met us real early on arrival day which allowed us to add that day to our site seeing of Valletta and believe me, you need all the time you can get because Valletta and Malta offers so much.
The apartment is a refurbished old building but has all the mod cons required and the great old style with tiles , rock walls, marble stair cases etc. Alan had the fridge full of goodies, advised things to do, where to eat etc. could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Do not hesitate, you must go to Valletta and definitely stay at VB Apartments you will not be disappointed

It's old but very clean and perfectly functional. Alan the host thinks of every detail to make the stay seemless. The bathroom was a shock but seriously works so well. Comfortable beds with A.C even emptying the A.C. drain buckets not an issue. We would stay again when next in Valletta. Close proximity to Streat with restaurant's and bars.  Located on Old Bakery.

Fantastic service 

Although the location and host were fine - the apartment we stayed in was not the one shown in the photographs or described in the description - we did not have twin rooms with balconies or bare stone walls and traditional Maltese fixings - so basically we were deceived and stayed in a less attractive, lower quality apartment which was eclectically decorated and less shabby chic - more shabby. There was no explanation of why this was the case and no discount offered.  "
