It was a nice place to stay and all staffs were outstanding.Highly recommended hotel for all my friends and relatives. The best thing about this hotel was very near to beach and the international airport. Cheers guys.

Lovely staffs

Excellent service .. I would recommend Hiyala Inn & would stay again. Safe environment for family & nice staff. Room was clean & close to restaurants. Very close to the airport & no hassle of getting a ferry with luggage If you are on transit or for a short stay before flying towards an island stay. 

Excellent Service 

Me and my friend chose to stay in Hiyala Inn en route to one of the resorts. It was amazing experience to experience the local lifestyle. We were very pleased with the quality of the Inn and the hospitality offered by the friendly staff. We were picked up from the airport promptly, and hence we decided to stopover on the way back as well. Great to stay on the way to the resorts to enjoy the local lifestyle. The rooms were spacious, well maintained and clean. It was very comfortable. The stay was most enjoyable. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

Most amazing stay!

We ( Me and my friend Tanya ) stayed at the Hiyala for 4 nights a few days in October 2015  and it was everything we hoped it would be. We selected the Hiyala based on the recommendations from one of our friend  and were VERY pleased with the quality of the hotel and the service we received. We requested a shuttle pickup from the airport (highly recommended and worth the expense) and the driver was waiting for us even though our plane got late bit and we had power cut at the Airport. and The driver was helpful, specially the guide "Kude" is a lovely person and  curteous and spoke good English. On the trip to the hotel he pointed out numerous sights along the way. The room we were given was on the 3rd  floor and its a beautiful and a spacious and comfortable sitting area and a bedroom loft and adjoining bathroom. The quality overall was excellent (I LOVED the bathroom :) ), and everything was clean and spotless. The bed linens after a flight were an absolute delight. Pure comfort. The only negative things I can say about the room are 1) to get to the bedroom loft you have to walk up a narrow stairway carrying your luggage.
 the room windows were a quite bigger  and we saw beautiful turquoise Maldives sea and it was a lovely sight . 
 I recommend the breakfasts in the Shell Bean which is located in the hotel. The food is high quality. Service is excellent. The hotel does not have a restaurant,but there are numerous places to eat within a short walking distance.Front desk service was excellent with good recommendations, useful information and check-in and check-out were flawless. and  they are soo friendly . and the our guide Kude' is the best guide we had.Would I come back and stay here again if I visited Maldives ? Oh yeah! I definitely would and Highly Recommended :)

I wanted to thank the airport pick guy and the baggage helper for their warm smile and hardwork. The rest was just such a disappointment- very noisy construction around, horrible room with rusty bathroom, ugly staircase and everything seemed unfinished! We were also annoyed that the receptionist wanted to bill us for breakfast. You should ask your guest if they wanted to pay extra for breakfast first before you key in any amount on your machine. Our other hotel was fully fully booked and the sole reason we stayed in here. Thank goodness..our other hotel was top class! Price-quality, this is a rip-off! $75 for a filthy room, should have slept at the airport or put up a tent or opted for a much cheaper guesthouse (things we've never done but could have been better than Hiyala Inn). Horrible first night in Maldives (the only horrible one as a matter of fact). Save yourself from a disaster.

This is not 4-star. Not even close to 2. WORST place - Save yourself from a disaster!
