it's nice  place.nice environment, peaceful, suitable for families,groups.. friendly staffs, clean rooms. it's takes just few minutes for reservations, with the facilities in the rooms, aromatic, have parking lots

stayed there for a night. booked 5 rooms at about RM 690/++. given the cheap price, i guess we have to accept the level of facility we stayed in. the deluxe room was quite spacious, with city view. the bathroom is not very clean but still acceptable. the location is within walking distance to Karamunsing complex, Filipino market, Masjid Usia, 24hours laundry shop. Plenty of restaurant around the hotel but it can be a little bit noisy during night due to close proximity to night clubs and bars. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served was very simple, just toast, selection of hot drinks and fruit. You have to do your own dishes once finished.

affordable, old hotel

Located well for access to Kota Kinabalu if you don't mind a short walk. Nice, comfortable bed and large TV, though we only used this with a computer, not for the actual channels provided. The bathroom was okay, had a separation for the shower to toilet area but the sink was right next to the shower and ours dripped so your legs/feet got wet as you cleaned your teeth! Golden curtains provide a nice, luxurious (bordering on tacky?) feel to the place, also blocking out the street alley view (our view wasn't the best!). Wifi connection is awful so don't rely on this - we went to Imago mall for our wifi fix. 
We didn't have breakfast here but there are a few places around the hotel for eating. We visited a curry house just down from the hotel a couple of times - nice food and cheap. There's also a KFC on the corner that do breakfast wraps etc. Also the hotel do sell snack noodle pots and peanuts/kitkats at reception.

Lovely room, not great wifi

I wasn't going to review this hotel as they discounted us 1:3 nights for our inconvenience but it was awful. 

We have been travelling south east Asia since Jan '17 staying in 2 and 3 star places and this is the worst place we have stayed in. Well, there was one in Thailand was rotten but this was more expensive and rotten. 

We booked a superior room. It wasn't!The first room they assigned us was dirty with hairs all over the bathroom, stale cigarette smell and generally dirty and dusty, it looked like someone had wiped their nose down the wall numerous times. We asked to be moved, they found us a much better room, smaller but cleaner and more modern. On the 2nd night we came back and the Aircon compressor was so noisy we could not hear each other. We asked to move and the only room they had was disgustingly dirty. It was this or nothing. The hotel is old and dirty and is not a 2 star. Stay somewhere else this place is horrible. 

Go elsewhere. 

Not really a clean hotel, but an old building, parking is not that convenient and the hotel is located near to the town, Room is small and old furniture but just nice for one night stay after a late night flight. Friendly staffs but the alley from the parking to the hotel lobby, and from the lift to the room is abit creepy and dark though.

Clean

I stayed in this hotel as an alternative to Basic Hotel across the street, which I had pre-booked online but was dirty and claustrophobic. Century hotel is clean, quiet and conveniently located to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and the air-con works wonderfully. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the room price. I had the standard twin room, which was very comfortable. Not far from nice eatery (Sri Latha and Sri Maimuna just round the corner) and walking distance form the night market. Excellent value for money.
