Petluck Resort Naivasha

If you are going to Naivasha/Nakuru, this is highly recommended. Rooms are spacious and have a sit out area. There are zebras and giraffes roaming around the hotel, which is an experience in itself. Food is also great. We were also lucky to watch a rhino on the other side of the fence, a 100 feet away during the night

Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) loved our 2 nights stay here. Property is beautiful and added bonus was to see zebras and giraffes inside the property. Zebras are often found heading just outside the rooms. Staff were super courteous, buffet had variety of options for vegetarians. Rooms had mosquito nets and folks would also come to spray for bugs in the evenings. We were also able to see the hippos out in the property at night with a security guard who walked with us. Overall an amazing stay

Beautiful rooms with lake view. You can see giraffes and zebras outside the room. You can also see hippos at night. Mosquito nets provided and the visit the room during night for spraying. Staff are courteous. Nice buffet spread . No water provided in restaurant is the only drawback. Battery operated cycles provided for going around. Want to visit again

This has to be the most amazing place in Naivasha🙌🏻. From the entrance the place just felt so natural, the trees 🌳🌲all around the massive property with the giraffes 🦒walking within. Thank you Leshan for hosting us. 
the restaurant has one of the most impressive feels and the food, I was spoilt for choice. The pool is really impressive, coupled with the pizza oven and the tennis court by the pool bar. I loved it here, and will most definitely be back again for longer...

This was the fifth time my family and I stayed at the Sopa and there are many reasons why we keep going back! The entire resort is breathtaking, the food AMAZING! The fact that I can see Zebra's and Giraffes from my bed every morning never gets old! The staff are all quite friendly and always go over and above to ensure you are well taken care of. The resort is also wheelchair friendly which was important for my family since we had a wheelchair user. Anywhere there might be two or three steps, the staff were always more than willing to assist. I can't wait for us to go back for our sixth visit! :-)

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is breath taking.

The staff, from the moment we arrived, were so welcoming. We were given a scented hot towel to refresh ourselves on arrival, and a lovely cool drink. Setting the tome for our stay. Surrounded by the most stunning environment and wildlife. Their gardens should win a prize (actually , the people who maintain it)

EVERY single person was so genuine and kind, 
from security getting in, to reception, bar and restaurant and shop staff, drivers, cleaners, and everyone we didn't see, but did a wonderful job. 

This hotel is fantastically luxurious. It is all so welcoming, clean and lovely. The room and views breath taking. Passing zebra, waterbuck, giraffe on the way to our rooms.

The whole site is breath taking, their lush gardens all around you, comfortable, spacious  communal areas. The showers fantastic (urging tourists to watch their water use, as Kenya suffers a huge drought, please be considerate).

The lounge, dining and breakfast areas are clean and super welcoming. And where ever we went, staff gave us such a nice time. 

A lady at reception and our mum made a very special connection.
Peter, our waiter went beyond and above his duties , making our stay extra special and like home. So did Nicholus and staff cooking our breakfast.

The buffet/ menu is amazing, so much to chose from and all delicious.
Swimming pool is fantastic and has a children's pool.

We were a family group with 2 teenagers and stayed here for 3 nights. It was such a wonderful stay 
Rooms: a bit old fashioned but very comfortable with great views. The further from reception the better but it can be a long walk 
Food: buffet for all meals with huge variety and very tasty 
Activities : on site there is the big pool, walk the grounds full of birds and wildlife, tennis, table tennis 
Off site boat trip to crescent island is a must ( hire a guide on the island), walk or bike hells gate. We didn’t do Nakuru from there but it is an option
Staff: amazing service. Everyone is friendly and helpful 

My only comment is not enough loungers at pool and not enough shade. And resort is showing signs of age but it didn’t matter. I would stay again

This is an absolutely incredible place to stay that needs to be seen to be believed - the grounds and gardens are stunning full of colourful and interesting plants and flowers, beautifully manicured, but most incredibly at all, you are very much at one with nature here with animals walking around among the grounds. When we were taken to our room after check in, a load of zebras were walking along the paths freely beside us! We also spotted lots of gazelles and they told us, monkeys can often be found there too.
They took great care of giving safety advice because of the fact that animals roam freely - they advised not to walk on the grounds after dinner so instead, you call reception and they arrange for security who arrived promptly to escort guests to and from dinner and if wandering down to the lake , because hippos are around, again they arrange security to walk with you. The interiors are stunning with a classic , rustic wooden look and a very elegant dining room. Buffet choices are a plenty for dinner and breakfast, though I felt the quality and flavours of some of the dinner foods could be improved eg fish was a bit dry both nights and cakes were lacking in flavour a little too. 
Poolside area was lovely but there were a couple of issues here - not enough sun loungers and some people ended up having to lie on the floor or on bar chairs. The pool attendant did offer me a sun lounger when one became available, which was helpful. They were also strict on 1 towel per 1 guest rule - I hadn't realised this initially and had taken a 2nd one and he came to me and took it back from me. 
Rooms are huge and the balcony gives a really gorgeous panoramic view from where you can see the animals wandering. We really regretted only staying for one night - would love to return one day!

We were a family party of 10  (ages between 7 & 75) and our stay here was far too short.  The cottages were delightful, the setting, on the shore of Lake Naivasha was astonishing with Zebra, various kinds of Monkeys, Giraffe & in the evening Hippos wandering round the grounds.  The food was out of this world and the staff delightful, we all wished that we could have stayed longer to enjoy this resort.  We did have an early morning boat trip round the lake with a superbly knowledgeable guide from the hotel and it was so peaceful, yet full of so many different birds, quite magical.
