The hotel has a great location and really impressed me as we arrived 3 hours early for check-in and yet they gave us our room. The staff were fantastic and helpful at every turn. It’s located close to the historic district, close to Kurashiki Station, Achi Shrine, and T.S.L. Store (Traveler’s Notebooks).I normally do not talk about the amenities such as soaps etc…. But the Kurashiki Art Hotel is top tier. What amazed me most was the sheer number of choices in the room itself, including: bath balms, hair scrunchies, facial cleansers, moisturizers, as well as a selection targeted at men including aftershave and shaving cream that were great. We had bath robes, slippers, and pj’s. I know those can be common, but trying to illustrate how completely this wonderful hotel pampers its guests. This place gets five stars from me. A MUST stay if you’re headed to Kurashik
