61 reviewsMy wife's family lives in Komatsu and I've visited several times in the last few years. The Comfort Hotel has proven to be an excellent value. The usual complaint made of hotels in Japan is the tiny rooms. This hotel has a wide variety. I'm currently staying in a suite for 13,000 yen, including breakfast for two. The suite has a large living room, with a half bath (toilet), wet bar, and large window with view of the ocean, two small couches and a TV. Off the bedroom is a second toilet, with separate sink and separate ofuro. The bedroom has two double beds, two large windows, a second TV. The breakfast is a mix of western and Japanese food. The staff is very helpful. They also have two bicycles for use for free and free parking. You pretty much need a rental car to stay here, but that's about the only disadvantage. In addition to the suite I'm in now, I've stayed in a smaller suite with living room and tatami room for sleeping. We stayed there with our two sons and it was very comfortable and spacious. My only warning is that the place is a little dated and could use fresh carpets, wall paper and furniture, but if they did all that the prices might be higher.
