This is the best accommodation we have stayed in in Japan. The room is like something out of a movie set, clearly a labour of love for the owners as it has lots of cute little touches everywhere. The futons are comfortable, the shower is good. There is a kettle and fridge in the room, air conditioning is working well and it is virtually across from the ferry terminal. Very quiet at night as most tourists have left by 5pm and don’t really arrive until around 9am. The owner is very friendly and helpful and we communicated well with signs and gestures. Coffee and biscuits are complimentary in the communal lounge, there’s also a microwave (we didn’t use it). Would highly recommend this ryokan. What a great find.

Fantastic stay! Absolutely loved it!

Very comfortable accommodation. Feels like home. Room smells great and is very clean. We slept so well here. Location is perfect, just in front of the ferry terminal. Staff here are so friendly and welcoming. 

Perfect Accommodation 

We stayed in a traditional triple room. It was clean and a large room. The bathroom was nice and looked brand new, super clean!

When you arrive, take off your shoes, put them in the cupboard, then go up the stairs. You will find a receptionist area. The both employees were amazing. Very welcoming. 

Iit is right by the ferry so you don’t have to go too far with luggage.  

I wasn’t sure about staying on the Island but it was amazing watching the sunset and walking around at night with few visitors.

A great place to stay without breaking the bank!

I just stayed for 2 days with my son in this Amazing Ryokan. We had a wonderful stay.
The Ryokan is across the ferry pier (1 mins walking). The owner is very welcoming, although she doesn’t speak any English. There is a restaurant at the entrance to the Ryokan that servers "western" food that was very good for dinner.
We took the traditional Japanese Ryokan room. The room was very large and the futon beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. Everything was just perfect. 
We will definitely visit again.

Amazing location and service small Ryokan

The place was spotless and in an excellent location close to the ferry. Lovely inside, everything was in a very nice condition and well looked after. Friendly customer service. Would recommend and stay again 

Wonderful stay

I stayed here in April with my mother. A VERY easy location to find, just veer to the right once exiting the ferry terminal and look for the building (a wee grassy park with deer on it just front of it) 
The landlady welcomed us on arrival, and although speaks minimal English is so incredibly willing to help in any way, including drawing detailed diagrams/maps. She sells bottled water on sale here for 100Yen.

The room is spacious and immaculately clean, and has a great view of the deer. 

Starbucks is a short walk away, but be sure to try a cafe serving the locally roasted coffee...to die for! The information brocures have these listed, and the one we went to was super easy to find. 

There was no problem storing our luggage once we had checked out.

Overall, an awesome experience.
