Run by a friendly older Japanese couple. They speak minimal English but enough to help you enjoy your stay with no problems, their daughter is around to help with translations if required also. Property is walking distance to Ecoland (where there are lots of dining options and shuttle bus pickup for the ski resorts). The rooms modern and comfortable with TV's and the rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfasts each morning are amazing and the owners will drive you to the bus pick up when you are ready to help get you on the slopes quicker. Just outside the busy part of town with open fields around the building so great views to wake up to every morning. Would highly recommend the hotel for the more mature traveler or couple who wants a nice quiet comfortable and relaxing stay in Hakuba.
