Turtle Beach Towers are made up of many studio's rooms an suite owned by various so some units will be very modern and some not as nice.  However the towers are probably best for location than almost any other place.  Not only are you in walking distance of beach areas but you are also within 2 - 3 min walking distance of clubs, shopping and restuarants.  I rented a car however it was totally not needed and I only did so because it was my first time at the towers.  
I have stayed at some more expensive places that were further out and had a more modern look but my vacation was not about staying at a hotel or a resort.  I love to be able to go out to a comfortable distance without getting lost,  You will see the towers no matter which way you walk within 15 to 20 mins. 
Also since there are many different prices you can negotiate a better price than you may find online. This all makes Turtle Beach towers my best choice for a vacation getaway.

Best location

The room was great and living room   only issues I have the towels took long to come and we didn't get any soap also no mats in the bathroom room to step on After shower but overall I love the view we also got a balcony. I would love to go back there. But I dnt want to use any agency. if anyone as Mr Chambers number please watsapp me @ 8763107812 thank you.

Was great

This place was well tidy and comfortable as expected. Our host was really nice. I like the fact that it was closeby to all the best restaurants and tourist attractions.Very Good location and very secured.

My daughter's birthday treat

This is the perfect location to enjoy so much in Ocho Rios Jamaica. There are so many things within walking distance that will ensure your trip is great. We walked to the club, to many restaurants, did shopping in the craft market, got ice cream and authentic Jamaican food. The cambio for money exchange was literally across the street. We had out our pool and beach access. It was amazing.

Girls Trip in Ochi

Although the exterior of the building is old, the condo is clean and has everything you need.  Ideal location close to beach, restaurants, shopping, taxis and bars.  Will be great once the boardwalk is completed and you can walk directly to the beach.

Stayed for a week. Definitely will be returning.

Hallways, Elevators need painting and upgrading 
Grounds are beautiful where there is grass but sidewalks need pressure washing
Deffinately need new garbage compounds! 
Pool needs to be drained and repainted 
Better maintenance needed overall!
No Flowers at some apt entrances- very messy!
Close to the beach and electronic gate with electronic entrance to apartments
Lot of time entrance door to apt blocks are open

Some apts nice others not

There are so many plus and minuses to this apartment complex.  Ocho Rios has the most attractions in Jamaica so it’s definitely the place to stay. 
It really depends on what type of holiday you are looking for.  
If you decide to stay here you should hire a car.  Avis is walking distance on Milford Rd. We hired a car for 2 days at $174 usd then we went around the corner to get a Jamaican SIM card so we could use Google Maps to get around.  
The apartments have a full kitchen, en-suite and airconditioning and there is pool and beach access with a pass from reception.   The building is a bit old but everything works.  
There is as big supermarket where we bought the SIM card from at Digicel. So we bought groceries and made our own breakfast and some lunch / or dinners at the apartment.  
The restaurants near buy are suited for Dinner and one close buy advertised breakfast but we didn’t eat there.  

Turtle Beach towers is walking distance to the beach, 45min walk to Dunn’s River and Dolphin Cove. 
Markets, Restaurants, Scotia Banks which is a DUAL currency so you can withdraw USD if you need, are all close walking distance too. 
If you stay here you should have a car and you can just show up to the location of whatever attraction you want to do without pre booking a tour.  In most cases you will save money, but you will still be spending a lot.  It’s a once in a lifetime experience for us all the way from Australia.  But we probably spent $1000USD cash in 3 Days.  
All Jamaicans accept USD and will give USD change too.

got a place here on the 8th floor air band b room was awesome had great view but building looks like something outta the show good times door in main entrance don't lock elevator broke down couple times just run down the grounds aren't well kept..pool is nice awesome location right on beach

I would never stay here again. Not updated in anyway. Dirty rundown, difficult to get service - ie towels, bed changed, unit cleaned

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that had standards of cleanliness.

Not pleasant!

Some friends and I stayed at apartment 36D turtle towers for a long weekend in June. I'm writing this review as our weekend holiday was somewhat ruined by misinformation and borderline fraud from the owner Mellina.

The property manager Ricky, who was supposed to be available as the owner lives in the UK was bairly available and often did not respond to our calls or messages. It took two days for him to supply us with enough towels for each of our party of four. Not great when you'd expect to be able to shower after a long day at the beach. The TV never worked, which was promised to us on booking and neither did the air conditioning. The property manager told us on day two that he was getting a repair man to come fix it and that we had to be present. What stupidity is this, we're on holidays, I'm certainly not staying in the apartment to wait for him. We left keys at security but the issue was never fixed. 

We were also promised free Wi-Fi, while it initially worked, after a power outage the Wi-Fi stopped working, so was not available for more then half our stay, unacceptable as this was promised to us. Multiple phone calls went unanswered and the problem was never fixed. 

However the worst thing, is that the property manager was not available when we checked out, we even waited an extra few minutes so he could inspect the apartment. He never showed, as we needed to catch the bus back to our home in Mandeville, we had to leave. We duly tidied the apartment, locked up and left the keys at security. Only after trying to address our many issues with the owner Mellina, did she now make a claim that we had destroyed one of the sofa beds. Therefore we lost our damage deposit, this is both unfair and illegal as she refuses to respond to our emails or requests that she provide proof that damage occurred. Downright shameful that such mismanagement and misrepresentation should ruin our holiday. We have photographic evidence that the sofa beds were perfectly fine, however given the property manager would not be present for an inspection we simply have to put up with the loss of the damage deposit, not to mention the compensation we should rightfully be given for the misrepresentations. 

I plan on writing this review in any site possible to warn others about the fraudulent and terrible service by the owner and property manager at Apartment 36D Turtle Towers.
