This property has potential to be good.Old is one thing but dirty is another. Blankets musty and bathroom had absolutely no drainage.

It is a very nice place, the staff are very helpful and it is a good service.
They hade placed a bottle of wine in our fridge to welcome us☺️
It takes at 10 min walk to center of Tropea.

The pillows are little hard I think.
But what was the most disappointing thing for us was that you need to wear a cap on your head when bathing in the pool. Because of this we did not use the pool at all and we love to hang at the pool and not just the beach. A big minus for that😢

We could not use the pool

Beautiful, quiet and safe. We highly recommend.Especially to international and first time travelers. Beaches are clean and less crowded. My wife could walk alone freely on the property without any worry. Most of the hotels in this specific region are all controlled by a single tour organization located in Tropea which is a real problem, so it was nice to have this hotel as an option. 

Independently owned and managed hotel is best

the room is way too small from what you see in the picture... the bathroom was dirty and it smell.. when we book it they said it comes with breakfast then when we check in they said bec. due to COVID they will not going to serve us breakfast..

Convenient to Tropea. Nice surroundings. Friendly hosts.

This is a small family owned hotel with excellent, friendly and helpful staff.  The owner was always around at breakfast to help with any questions.
The beach, which is a priority with us) was 4 mins walk down hill and it was sandy and safe.  It was never over busy as there are so many beaches in Tropea!  Nice beach bar and bistro too.
The small town is medieval, beautiful and built on cliffs overlooking the beaches, marina and harbour.  The little streets are wonderful but a nightmare for driving when one is not used too it.. They have evolved and bendy one way system throughout the town, but it works once you've used it a few times
The hotel runs a free shuttle into Tropea each evening at 8pm returning 11 pm.  But we found it a bit late some evenings after a long pm on the beach  and the kitchen gives you the option to prepare local fresh produce!

The narrow streets make it awkward for driving but they have an excellent one-way system so you get used to it after a few days.  In some narrow alleyways it's backs against the wall to let a car through!

Excellent location with very comfortable accommodation

I have been in plenty of different hotels in my life for work as well as for vacation and this is the worst at all
1 the first day they forget us, hence there was not enough fish to serve the dinner and we were in only 2 people.. We decided to go out for eating 
2.Beach is kind of wild place.. we arrived there around 15.00 there was nobody to give us a seat and a sun umbrella, we called them.. we took one place and after ca. 45min  lifeguard arrived telling us that we were in the wrong seat.. Where is the safety? After 45min without lifeguard? And he waked up us even... 
3 morning breakfast with really limited choices.. Don't ask anything that is not on the table for 2 eggs they have replied "the chef is not available"... For 2 eggs?? I can make them by myself! 
4. Room are really small, so small that air-conditioning is in front of the bed hence no choice or un get frozen with some healthy issue or you keep switched off sweating all the night
5. Although we asked first day to leave 1 day in advance, no discount "you have to pay the full day"
6. We asked water for breakfast they told "ok but 0.5 l if you want a liter more you have to pay" why? What's the logic? Neither 1 small bottle x person? 
7....and I'm sure there will be others issues to come due to these above points are just related to our first night! 


Service?? Breakfast?? Meals?? Hospitality?? 

Location good service good, short woke to beeches,woke to central tower

We didn't get off to the best start. When we were shown our room it did not have a window which was something of a shock. We were initially told there was nothing else but, to be fair, we were subsequently offered a room with a window.

The hotel is up quite a steep hill, about 20 minutes walk from the brilliant Old Town and about 10 minutes walk from a very nice beach

The grounds were attractive with lots of shrubs and lemon, apple and banana trees. There were nice terraces with seats and sun beds

The bathroom was good with an excellent shower. The room was ok but the bed was not the most comfortable. Wifi wasn't great

Great views to the Old Town, down to the port and up the coastline

All the staff we met were friendly particularly the father in this family owned business

Nice Grounds and Stunning Views

Hotel location is great. The city center, port, and beach are within 15 min walking distance. 
The breakfast is minimal (cornetti and coffee only). Although the breakfast was quite disappointing, the dinner in the hotel restaurant was amazing. 
The rooms are bare and don't feel very clean. 
The hotel appears to be a family business and they are friendly and helpful.
