153 reviewsHad an amazing stay at the Agriturismo Villa Guarnaschelli while visiting the Tuscany region. The property was better than advertised…surrounded by Olive orchards in the beautiful Florentine Hills. Amazing Tuscan atmosphere where you can just sit and enjoy the surroundings with a glass of wine after your Florence day trips. We received a warm welcome from Lucia. When we weren’t sure of what each might have meant, she would quickly and proficiently utilize her phone’s translator App. Communicating by App was not only fun but also added to the ambience and the certainty that we were “officially” an American couple “on holiday”. Enjoyed a very clean, spacious and comfortable room during our stay. They have a nice swimming pool but we couldn’t find time to enjoy it. Large and convenient parking areas. Every little corner of the well-kept property is cared for….. While the property was excellent, the staff, led by hands-on owner Adriana, made the difference between good and great. Adriana is very nice and she will do everything humanly possible to make sure your stay is memorable…. from ensuring the wine we ordered was chilled for an evening overlooking the Tuscany hills on their quaint terrace….to having her breakfast staff prepare eggs to our liking the following morning. Continental breakfasts were great. A large variety of sweet and savory options. Enjoyed the variety of coffee and teas. Be sure to try their homemade honey products too. Breakfast was always a great start to our day. Adriana also offered dining recommendations and would gladly call to check availability and make reservations for us. She recommended Enoteca Del Pesce, where I probably had the best seafood pasta dinner of my life. Agriturismo Villa Guarnaschelli is very reasonably priced and is highly recommended.
