It was a wonderful time being "next" to the annunciation basilica! Best food! There's a great sight over Nazareth from the accommodation! The sisters also have a beautiful garden where one can spend their leisure time. I would go there at any time again!

I love this place for the peace and quiet it provides. The only fly in the ointment was the absence of elevators. Its good thing my husband has been weight training weeks before we joined a pilgrimage tour group. Our room was comfortable, but the stairs were rather steep and dangerous for him to be carrying 26 inch suitcases (there were 2 of them). Thank God our priest helped bring 1 up, but going down was a different matter. The food was ok and Sister Hortencia was very accommodating. I loved the view overlooking Nazareth. At night, the scenery was fantastic. The early morning bells playing a Marian hymn from a nearby church added feeling of deep satisfaction. 

Rooms are large, very clean. air conditioned and beds are nice. the food is wonderful. Ask to have dinner there. the sisters are attentive and the place is high up in the hill with a wonderful view. you might need either a car or a taxi to climb up.

Nice and quiet

Wonderful place to stay in Nazareth.

Lovely welcome and we parked within the compound which was good. The room was Spartan, and the single solid beds made sleeping as a couple uncomfortable. The shower was hot but small so tough to manoeuvre. It seemed expensive for what it was, at 400NIS per night including a very basic breakfast.   

Great location, poor breakfast

The rooms and overall facilities are spartan but clean. We had a group of 26 and had the place to ourselves. We had arranged dinner to be provided. The food was very well prepared and of sufficient quantity. There was not variety but rather a served plate. Breakfast was not "awful" but it was strictly European fare (meaning lunchmeat and cheese). Along with pita bread, it was all you could eat. As an American, I would have preferred some toast. Coffee was instant but the hot milk was nice. The view of Nazareth was wonderful. We walked to the Church of the Annunciation. Our bus driver knew where to find it. There is no parking for a bus. We parked nearby (at the Y) and a van picked up our bags. The bus dropped us off at the end of the alley leading to the guesthouse (1 minute walk?). We picked the location because we wanted to support a Christian facility. We plan to stay there again (but to ask for toast at breakfast).
