At Omah Salam you will feel at home. Omah Salam is located near a street full of good restaurants and bars. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everyday we had a different breakfast, freshly made and super delicious. The rooms are cozy, and have everything you need. Definitely recommend this place. If I could, I would surely come back.

Cozy place in Yogyakarta

I like this place because it's cheap, clean, and very homey. The price is equal the qualty. The location is near right around Prawirotaman, a busy street with many foods and bars. Will definitely stay here again!

Homey place to stay

I stayed here for 3 days 4 nights and I didn't want to leave this place in the end. The property's location is perfect. It's near the restaurants, mini market, money changers, spas and other businesses but it's hidden enough so that the noise from the road and bar won't bother you. 

Inside the property is peaceful and quiet, the staff are knowledgeable in assisting the guests.  Bagas and Aliah were the best. They make really good banana pancakes too! 

For the price, I would say, it is worth the money and I would definitely book here if ever I'm in Yogya again.

Worth Every Penny

Omah Salam is located in a small alley right at the busy and touristic street Jl. Prawirotaman. Though the place is small, it's beautiful, neat, quiet and the staff is super friendly. Bagas and Tara are really welcoming and nice to talk to! They even give you your own keys so you can go in and out of Omah Salam whenever you like. The breakfast was simple but delicious (pancakes, fruit and tea/coffee). The only remark that I have is that the shower in room empat was not really working properly. Unfortunately the water pressure was too low. And, when switching to hot water the water became uncomfortably hot. But overall Omah Salam is a really nice place for a really nice price!

Lovely place!

Wow where to start with this review...such a lovely place and such a lovely people. We were welcomed by Tara and the other staff with a nice tea and great explanation of things to see and do in Jogjakarta. The places consists of 4 rooms with a nice garden in front of the rooms. There's a nice place to sit and relax, grab some coffee/tea/etc. The room was big and clean, nice hot shower and perfect wifi. It's a perfect small oasis in a crowded/busy city, very close to the greatest restaurants in Jogjakarta according Tripadvisor. Everything you need is within walking distance, although the big attractions like Jalan Malioboro are better reached by taxi/motorbike. But the main draw is the lovely people at Omah Salam. Everyday they made something different and delicious for breakfast, they offered to prepare it when we took a tour at 05.00 AM too! They helped us with arranging tours, taxi's, simcards and every other question we had. Although they just started recently, they put all their effort in making it a perfect stay!
