Decent sized room, pretty clean, open shower with hand-held, good hot water.  Friendly staff though my reservation from Agoda seemed to have caused some initial confusion. Nice pool area. Loud due to either music or karaoke in the hotel.

Hotel Pardede is one of economic hotel which located in ir H.Juanda street near polonia airport.The most important and interseting places here is not  difficult to reach.From this hotel included that traditional mall and market,it is crowded location. Eventhough the room is not too big to take a rest,but we can feel safety there.The management of the room is so good until the room is not seem too narrow.The rooms  that we can choose are superior and deluxe and suite.We were choose suite room with balkon.There is a bathtub and shower  in every rooms. All of the room is complicated with air condition.The capacity is two adult people.Beside the bedroom ,we able to find desk and chair in every rooms.The cost in pardede hotel  is only 250.000 for one night,included breakfast for 2 people.There is a mineral water and free wi-fi there,and the safety parking.

Facilities in the room consisted of a broken fridge, a shower with a broken door, a kettle, but no tea or coffee and an old TV which took up half the available space. Reception reluctantly gave us a map of Medan, but did not know where the restaurants or shops were. Bad food, but by far the worst feature was some loud rock/dance music which went on till 4am, in spite of the hotel being virtually empty.

Awful from arrival to departure

I had meeting in medan, so i search hotel and found this hotel based on information on the net, the price is low, and the building looks old.

Now here i am, first impresion, yes it is an old building, and only two story, some of it has third floor. Thats why they dont have any escalator or elevator. It not to big deal for me. 

In lobby, there quite place with just a fe. People, they should play some music or provide big tv in lobby. The service not to good, we only get smile in front office, the potter, the house keeping the room service, treat us not so nicely.

The room quite big, maybe 6x9m, reduced the bathroom for about 3x3m. But the tv is the only one that dissapoint, it small just 14', not to big deal again, but they dont provide remote control for the tv, it annoying for me.

In the room, the bed quite nice, they provide chair and table, big wardrobe. I choose the one facing the street, so i get some view. In bathroom, there bathtub, and but no hot water, even for the price  400thousand rupiah, it is dissapointing thing. They should not put the word international in the hotel name.

The food in room service not to good, even the price is not too expensive, but i still dissapointed about the taste.

Overall for the budget hotel, is enough, they also have pool inside, the room big, if you go with big family, you can order extra bed and the room still big. Please work on your service to welcome guest more friendly.

Big room low cost minimum service

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was actually a business trip, so I did not choose this hotel by myself. But, I had the best company during my stay --> my beloved husband. So let's just say we were also enyoying the time for ourselves in the moment of celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. When we entered the hotel lobby, we can see that this hotel is very old. They put some pictures on the wall showing Indonesia's second president. The owner of the hotel Pardede, apparently was Soeharto's close friend. Then, we headed to our room on third floor, the lift was very old, looks spooky, fortunately it still operate smoothly. When we entered our room, we can found more evidence about the age of the hotel, the windows in our room were just like the ones in Indonesia's TV serial in the 80's. However, the room is comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was clean, unfortunately the towels should've been changed, as we can see the the colour werenot that bright anymore. They should add some more bathroom amenities, they only provide one bar of soap. The fridge in our room is a brand new one, but the TV is the opposite, it's a very old style TV, don't expect the LCD not even the LED. They provide the water boiler unfortunately they don't provide the coffee nor the tea. The breakfast was okay, the food tastes good. The staffs in the hotel is one of the best thing that the hotel can offer, they are friendly and helpful.  Another best thing is the location of the hotel is in the middle of the city, so you can easily go around the city of Medan and enjoy the culinary.
