The bedroom is clean, breakfast buffet is various from traditional to international foods. The swimming pool is full of fallen leaves at the bottom. The hotel is huge, equipped with fitness center and spa (must pay of course).

I hosted 100 local and international guests for a wedding reception in October 2019. Ms Viena, the event manager, was extremely helpful from the start of my wedding planning all the way to the day of the event. The vendors she recommended were highly professional and delivered on their promises.

As part of the wedding, I also rented +-50 deluxe rooms and suites for my guests. Each one of them were impressed by the well-manicured property and Lorin's traditional touches: Javanese architecture and decor, big spread of Indonesian delicacies, and a daily gamelan show at 5 PM.

There are many fancier hotels in Solo, but Lorin is the only one providing authentic Indonesian hospitality in a beautiful garden setting.

Best venue in Solo for a truly Indonesian event

Wow...that's the moment of truth for the first impression when I checked in in this property.
General Manager,you should give the appreciation to your employees since they have sincerely service excellence to the guests. From the front office and bell boys staff,houskeeping roomboys and FB waitress and waitress as well (the trainees also I found them good communication to the guests).
Well readers,you would never regret if you stay here. You'll get all facilities completely. The breakfast was good tastes.

Recommended hotel for leisure and business

One word i would me and my big family describe is HAPPY.
This hotel provide excellent services. 
Pool is awesome, love the architecture. 
Food also fantastic, i was ordered Bakmi Goreng jawa or mie goreng jawa late night and love the taste, very recommended.

Housekeeping very details and cleaned up the room very well.

Whole family members was happy since were booked total 9 rooms and enjoy our happy time in Solo as specially in this hotel. Looking forward to come back.

 

We Are Happy.

We make a wrong booking when we arrived, but the hotel staff was assisting us in a good way. This we stay at a suite before we can move to a connecting rooms.
This hotel have a great design, building material (i love the wood floor), and landscape.
However, the hotel need a small renovation or repair on each supporting equipment.
For instance the shower equipment (in one of our room the handle was broken), AC (noisy in one of our room)
having said that, this hotel still have the luxury looks, and it is good to stay when in Solo
please be reminded that the Hotel location is quite far from the central town.

room service is very good..it is available 24*7 that too very quick...nice resort
have plenty of food options too..enjoyed the morning breakfast and pleasant strolls in the resort in the evenings......

good place

Stay for a night with wife in other part of Lorin complex. Room is very spacious and clean enough but unfortunately we had hole on sheet and lamp on head board is not working turns little bit dark inside. Bathroom also clean enough but need ro be more details in cleaning because mirror inside the bathroom still found watermark like someone wipping mirror in hurry. No hairdryer inside the room. Swimming pool were nice and clean and b'fast is two thumbs up. Just little bit improvement on cleanliness details.

It was a comfortable hotel with a good service, however, my friend saw how men were killing squirrels in the park. She made a video of it. I don't understand why people are killing animals on the territory of the hotel (it can be dangerous for people who stay there, nothing to say how shocking it looks) and for what reason, they are doing so. It is very sad that nature protection in Indonesia has a very low level.

Animal cruelty

The shower broke, hairdrier dead. Hot water yup, not hot anymore. Floor and mate badly need repair and maintanance. Breakfast, mediocre even for 3 stars hotel. I stayed here with my family, booked executive room. Twin bed and large, but the sheet, i think should be replaced soon

Old and need repair hotel

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. So many problems with it that I don’t know where to start. 

Booked 2 rooms here. First room has such a terrible smell from the poorly ventilated toilet. Bathroom was so dirty, you can see the thick soap scum very clearly. Mirrors has seen better days, shower head is rusty & blocked. I had such a tough time sleeping because everything felt unclean. 

2nd room had faulty AC and we had to switch rooms. While this is happening, the room directly across from us is also encountering the same problem. I’m pretty sure this is commonplace as we had noticed the technician ladder at a room further away as we were checking in. 

Breakfast at this place was abysmal. Plenty of options but they only serve small portions of it, therefore it quickly runs out. 
A lot of waiting even for cups, plates, cutlery, food etc.

There are better rooms at better location with better price & service.
