Our driver took us here for our lunch after our visit to the nearby Jain temple, despite our protestations that we prefer to avoid ‘tourist’ restaurants whenever possible. His justification was that this place is clean, which it proved to be after we decided to comply.
The food was actually pretty good (we had two vegetarian dishes plus rice and naan), albeit probably overpriced for what it was (recognising that you are ‘paying’ for one extra!). It fitted the bill but I feel unable to recommend the place to fellow travellers.

OK food in ‘tourist trap’

Absolutely terrible tourist trap. Don't go inside if your driver wants you to stop here. The lunch was dry and basic, not very tasty at all and extremely expensive. Our bill for 1 x samosa, 1 x paratha and 2 x lassi (worst lassi I've had in India) was over 600 rupees. Plus when I went to the toilet then the lady in there seemed to want money too. So confusing?? Our waiter told us the bill DIDN'T include "service fee" so we left 40 rupees for our waiter who then no longer had a smile on his face. Left feeling icky 

Avoid if possible 

Enroute to Ranakpur Jain temple, our driver took us to this restaurant. Would like to thank him, cause witnessed that, nan can be that expensive also. 3rd class restaurant. Clearly a tourist trap. You will see lot of foreigners. STOP LOOTING PEOPLE. NEVER EVER STOP AND TRY.

World's most expensive naan for Rs. 140

We stopped here after the visit of Ranakpur temple. Certainly there is an agreement with tourist companies and this place as it was full with tourists and prices are simply ridiculous. Total rip off! The naan was expensive and disgusting, the paneer was dry, the mango lassi tasted as nothing but mango and the rice was lame. Frankly had I known I would have not come here. Ironically, this was our most expensive and worst lunch in the whole trip. The day before we had lunch at a palace and paid less! RIP OFF! I gave our food to the poor restaurant dogs and I appreciated that one of the waiters was doing this with leftovers. Avoid this place!

Never ever again

We stopped off at this hotel to eat at the restaurant and the food was basic and overpriced. We were charged 120 rupees for a small can of coke, which was retailed at 35 rupees. The prices are extortionate at this place, won't be stopping off here again!

Your typical tourist trap in between Indian cities. 
Ok food. 
Ridiculously expensive (naan Rp 220/chapati Rs 150/lassi Rs 220 etc).
Pity I didn't look at TripAdvisor first! 
I'll give them this though - the grounds are quite pretty.

We stopped Chandra hote for lunch on the way from Ranakpur to Jodhpur. The rates are too much. A single Chapati costs 150 rs. Veg thali rs 450. When we asked attendant about high rates , he agreed for Rs.300. Its because foreigners stop here for lunch.Food was ok. Regarding staff service, i faced very bad experience. When I came out of washroom and took only one tissue paper, the lady attendant named Kavita asked me why I am taking 3 tissue papers. This is ridiculous. On one side you charge almost triple of normal rates and on one side you make this chndhigiri for tissue papers. I advise don't stop here even if your driver insist you.

Overrated, staff not courteous

Apparently there are not many lunch stops near the Ranakpur Jain temple but given the choice I would go hungry! A big tour bus arrived after us and all were served before us. When our food did appear at odd times it was dry so we asked for some of the universal mint and coriander chutney but were ignored three times. When my wife complained the manager would not address a mere woman and no apology or discount was offered. Such a shame that they feel they  can rip off tourists who will only pass this way once. Buy some drinks and snacks and miss this one if given the chance!
