What a great place to stay and enjoy nature. I stayed here for 2 days and believe me they are good host with best facilities. Their rooms (tents actually) are neat, clean and cosy with well mannered staff. 
Owner of property Mr Jagjit is gem of person, very knowledgeable, humble and cooperative. Since he already owns a good hotel in nearby town(Pahalagam) so have good team of cooks and provide variety of menu. 
Added advantage is their bonfire and mountain cycles. Though charge for cycles on hourly basis but yes ..It's worth trying.
For bird watchers, again, a good place , river on one side and mountain on other gives you ample of opportunity to explore.
On negatives: poor network of Airtel and BSNL (didn't find other) but to compensate they have wifi.

Visited here with family. The location of the property is amazing. The staff is also very very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Tents are clean. Lots of activities which keeps u busy. Overall it is must visit property and very economy.

I visited Aru Eco Resort with my family. Jagjit is a wonderful host and he and his staff made us feel at home. The food was delicious, the tents were pretty cozy and all the arrangements including the trekking and the bonfire made it a pleasant stay!!

This place made my entire trip and stay like really awesesomee. They had provided me so nice facility. My full family memberd enjoyed this stay, after a very long time.would love to recommend this to everyone

Very nice place and excellent resort. The place is very beautiful and amazing. They have very good services that they provide to each of their customers. I love this place like really very much. It is just so fantastic.

We recommend everyone to spend a day at Aru away from the regular tourist spots.
It might not be a luxurious location - in terms of amenities, but it is a complete Luxury to be staying so close to nature, no traffic/pollution and amazing views all around.

The caretakers at the resort are really kind and helpful. They will set up a camp fire at night and will cook food as per your liking.

We enjoyed our one night stay here.
And would definitely come back again.

- pointers for fellow travellers -
1. Please carry stuff to keep yourself warm / protect yourself from the rain - as the weather changes a lot pretty quickly in the valley.
2. Do bring your camera - it’s a beautiful place.
3. It lacks all the modern amenities - so please be prepared to live in camp-style accommodation. Don’t compare this to hotels and then complain later.
Once you set your expectations - you will surely forget the small things and have a memorable stay 🙂🙂

I had amazing stay with eco resort Aru.The best thing is Aru resort is its location.i really loved it.if u are nature lover and want to stay away from the crowded hustle bustle of the city then this is the place to be in.i really impressed and i will definettely visit again soon.

Amazing Stay with eco resort

We stayed at this property just 2 days back, it is really very unkempt. The location is beautiful, but the tents are dirty & not maintained. The bathroom was dirty with used tissues & shoe marks all over. We requested to clean it. The bed sheet was dirty & it seemed they hadn’t changed it post the guests checkout. Though the caretakers were courteous & nice but the tents aren’t clean. We had booked it reading the reviews but it didn’t do justice. Thankfully we just had a night stay. Food was fine. I believe due to Covid and few tourists it’s in such condition.
