Situated in an alley so small that taxis can't access! No front desk staff, language is a challenge! No safe as described, only drawers with tiny locks and filled, yes filled, with moth balls whose smell stuck in your clothes and stuff for weeks! 
Too small a bathroom for western standard, toiletries are of poor standard and inadequate! Towels are old and unclean!
Make-shift kitchen (hot pad) is separated from a house behind it by a "steel" door (this house in the back apparently was built later and now blocks the apartment "building". At 4:00am, you can hear people chopping and cooking food next door as if someone was cooking in your "own" kitchen!
The staff that comes daily to "man" the building is nice and tries very hard but he's limited in his language skill and, of course, the facilities he has to work with!
The issue here is for agencies like CheapTickets and others to inspect the accommodation prior to list it on your page! Reviews also need to be screened prior to getting posted! A **.+ is an over over ambitious!!! It's more like a .5*!
It'd be a long long way before this place is on par with hotels ready for western guests! 

A pseudo apartment with sub-sub par facilities!

This property is horrible... 
Guys please look for some alternate options in Kolkata. This property is located on the 9th floor & the elevators aren't working. I waited for ½ n hour. I had to climb n get down via stairs... 
I immediately called the owner/manager on his mobile number 09831657994 and refused to check-in as the pictures showed in here & other sites are fake... 
Bathrooms are dirty n smelly. Small beds in all rooms... ₹3500/- per night is like you are paying to sleep on pavement...
Its sheer waste of time & money...

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and it was very amazing and I will give it a 5 star ratting and will tell all my associates about my experience and the warm welcome. I am from the Richmond Hill Ontario ,Canada. I travel across the world and have had a lot of good hotels to stay in but this was the best ever

Seminar 

Stayed her for 17 days. One day before our 40th birthday they changed our room and told us if you don't like go elsewhere.

Rude owner, very dirty hotel, other people's belonging where left in the room.  Found cleaning staff sleeping in the rooms when not used

Don't stay here

I stayed for a week in my last visit & i would really like to thank the Chef-cum-Caretaker Navin who actually treated me like a family member. The building though little old, but the apartment is absolutely neat n clean, very tasty & homely food. The ventilation & view from all the rooms are excellent. I would love to come back & stay in the same spacious rooms and eat only here.
