We stayed here for a night. They are well staffed to attend to the guests. We found the rooms clean and uniquely interiored. The hospitality was good and also the food. The traditional folk performances were enjoyable and gave us a feel for the true Rajasthani culture.

Excellent place to enjoy your evening with Rajasthani Cultural program, camel ride and jeep ride. Staff behaviour is excellent . More particularly Mr. Prem Singh ji and Mr Choudhary ji. Who has taken care in all step. Rajasthani traditional food is must to taste..

I celebrated first day of 2021 at Camp E Khass with my family. It is beautiful and awesome place to have quality time with family. The ambience and staff of camp e khass is friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights at the venue and enjoyed a lot. The camps were luxurious and were clean. The property is managed very well by the staff.  They have traditional programme every evening along with finger licking snacks followed by amazing dinner with lot of varieties and rajasthani dishes. The whole stay and trip was mesmerising due to Camp e khass staff and their team.

Beautiful, breathtaking experience. Manager Mr. Manohar Singh and his team are wonderful. They provided excellent customer service. Took care of all our needs. Chef Jabar is above and beyond amazing. Him and his team made delicious one of a kind Rajasthan food and provided us additional dishes as requested. He has great talent and we truly enjoyed all our meals at Camp E Kas. The dancing at night time is entertaining and joyful. Full of color and beautiful singing. I highly recommend this Camp for future guest. Again beautiful and once in a life time experience.

The resort was aesthetic. The staff was very hospitable and warm. The ambience was beautiful and comfortable. The tents were clean and beautiful. They had hot water at all times. The food was good. Must try their puri-bhaji for breakfast. There was a flute-player entertaining us through breakfast. The best part of the experience was the cultural show. The dancers stole the show. The cute puppy Sheru made our stay more memorable. Has visited few other resorts before this one. Camp-e-khas was much better than them in terms of price, hygiene, hospitality and presentation. 

I have been to Jaisalmer for 3 times and this time on 04 March 2019 I stayed at an AC Swiss tent at Camp E Khas. The best of the lot you will find in Jaisalmer. best location, best room type, best lawn, best entertainment program, best food.... All were perfectly awesome. Thank You Digvijay Ji for the pampering we received at your camp.

Had chance to come here with friends. Camel safari and other activities good. Staff also well mannered and rooms are well maintained.

Pros:

Tents:
The tents provided were spacious and comfortable, with ample space. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and large. We appreciated the pre-arrangements made to ensure a mosquito-free environment, which was a major concern based on feedback from other camps.

Cultural Program:
The cultural program was a delightful experience, featuring traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance. Snacks were served during the performance, which added to the enjoyment. Additionally, families were allowed to enjoy drinks in the comfort at the cultural area, providing a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Staff:
The in-house staff was very cooperative and courteous, always attentive to the needs of the guests. When we faced an issue with the jeep safari, the manager, Mr. Prem Singh, intervened promptly and effectively resolved the situation, ensuring a positive experience.

Cons:

Jeep Safari Staff:
The jeep safari staff needs to be instructed on behavior with guests. Their job should be to provide an enriching experience and not just look into ways to exhort money from guests. During our safari, the driver and the person selling tokens for the ATV ride attempted to charge an exorbitant fee of ₹1250 per person. When we refused, the driver became uncooperative and informed us that we would incur a penalty if we explored the dunes. This led to a frustrating 10-minute delay, causing us to experience the camel safari after sunset and miss the sunset at sunset point. After reporting the incident to Mr. Prem, he took swift action, and we were able to book the ATV ride at a reasonable price of ₹500 per person. Although the issue was resolved, the initial experience was disappointing.

Bonfire:
While not a major issue, we would have preferred individual bonfires for each family. Instead, there was a common bonfire during the cultural activities. The staff explained that individual bonfires near the tents are not allowed due to safety concerns, particularly the risk of the tents catching fire. While we understand the reasoning, it would have been nice to have the option for private bonfires.

Overall Rating:
Despite the initial setback with the jeep safari staff, the prompt resolution by Mr. Prem and the overall positive experience with the accommodations and services led me to rate this property 4 out of 5.

Camp E Khaas - Nice experience with a must improvement

An interesting experience. A large lined tent with adjoining bathroom and toilet section. Large bed with seperate sitting area, air con and power points. Cannot be compared with a normal hotel room or even a normal tent! About 30 tents in our section and a dinging hall and outdoor performance area with seating, snacks and meals were served while watching the performance. This was one of many camps in the area which serve as a base for camel safari, again another interesting experience. Breakfast was an all Indian vegetarian affair with very attentive staff, eggs and toast were available as well.

Interesting experience!

Day 5 of my 15 day tour of Rajasthan. A night in the desert under canvas. Very nice canvas as it happens. Did the obligatory jeep ride in the dunes. The camel ride was thankfully more sedate. The camp was a great experience. Dinner with a dance and singing show was superb. Food was very good. Service and attention was terrific. Highly recommend the experience.

My Rajasthan adventure continued 

My wife and I went on a Christmas vacation to Rajasthan.  The first two days were visiting Jaisalmer.  We wanted to experience camping out in the desert since we had never done it before.  We stayed at Camp E Khas.  It was an experience we will never forget.  The staff did an excellent job with making our stay comfortable and stress free.  The morning wake up Masala Chai really hit the spot.  And the snacks during the evening cultural show were extremely tasty and plenty.  Speaking of the cultural show, the show was amazing!  The dancers were beautiful in their authentic Rajasthan dress and were a delight to watch.  The singing got everyone clapping along.  It was a treat my wife and I will always remember.  The facilities were very nice.  They had colorful fabric light shades on all the night lights which made it festive outside during the evening.  Our tent was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.  They had a small heater in the tent which worked perfectly for keeping the tent warm since it got into the 40s over night along with staying under the covers in bed.  The tent had a shower stall and a toilet & sink on the other side.  They were basic but fit their purpose.  

If you are the kind of person who only stays in 5 Star Hotels and eats at Michellen Star  restaurants then this experience isn't for you.  If you are looking for an authentic Rajasthan camping experience at a wonderful camp then definitely try staying at Camp E Khas
