Hi ganga ambience is quite good experience. peace full are nice restaurant area. staff was good and the manager was help full and guiding. Free wifi and free parking  in the hotel.Market is near . hoping to stay again.

I am an IT consultant last month i visited alone to Rishikesh in search of peace as our daily jobs are very hectic and tiring.

I was looking for a peaceful and budget place my friend suggested  Ganga ambiance for stay.

I stayed there for almost 2 days and i enjoyed it. It was a good experience with Ganga ambiance full satisfactory.Staff and service is upto the mark.

Feeling the nature

We had breakfast at Hotel Ganga Ambience - Aloo parathas. The parathas were ok and regular stuff. Can have food. No hype; no complaints. This is located on the Tapovan road - main road and easy to locate. They also served eggs for breakfast.

Had food

Went to Rishikesh for a weekend trip with family. After searching for few properties, we finally decided to settle for this in a hurry, because we were getting late for Evening Ganga Aarti & also, we thought we got a good bargain.

Pros -

1. Location - Close to Lakshman Jhoola and right on the Tapovan Road
2. Parking - There is a common parking for multiple hotels at the back, but reaching there is tricky as the alley leading to it as very narrow and has a 90-degree bend with hardly any space. The elevation is also very steep. Also, the parking is open and unguarded.
3. Price - Price on Yatra is 2300+ for Non-AC room. I was quoted 1000 for Non-AC rooms and 1200 for AC rooms by the manager. After some bargaining, he settled for 750 per Non-AC room.

Cons -
1. Electricity Issues - There is no power backup. There were several power cuts at night. In the morning, there was no electricity from 6 in the morning, till we checked out (around 8.30). We had to use the washroom in total darkness and without any hot water.
2. No intercom - There are no intercoms in the room. So if you have to raise any issue or need any amenity, you have to go downstairs (no elevator) and find someone to get it resolved.
3. No Toiletries - Nothing was provided to us, not even soap.
4. Dirty bathrooms - The bathroom floors were muddy and the water on the floor was not draining easily.
5. Smelly blankets - The blanket was not only torn at several places but smelled as well, along with the pillows.

Since we booked the room in a hurry, left and came late at night, utterly tired; we did not have the power or will to go downstairs, again and again, to complain (Already had done so a couple of times to get locks for the rooms and check for electricity). We just accepted our fate and checked out early the next morning without a word.

Wouldn't suggest it to anyone unless you are desperate.

Chose only if you have very low budget and cant stay at Hostels

Worst experience so far.. Terrible service, dirty rooms, no hot water, dirty linen and blankets. Manager was very rude, money minded, no room service. I would never recommend this hotel to any one .. not even a budget traveller. Please check your bills before hand as they're bound to cheat you for services unused. Rishikesh caters to amazing traveller friendly hotels .. don't even step on to this one, if you don't want to have a bad experience.
We have to give 1 star cause there s no option for 0 star.

Worst experience ever..

I have stayed in Hotel Ganga Ambience on 1st Oct 2018, and can bet you can't find a worst service and ambience hotel similar to this.
The Manager (who was completely unprofessional) was very rude and money-minded, he kept changing the room tariff for customers who came to inquire before us.

We went to rishikesh on a long-weekend and the Manager just looted us for a 1200 rupees per room which was just a basic room with almost no amenities.  Please find some positive & negative points of this hotel:-

1. Location - Good, is on highway, but you will hear the sound of traffic more than usual as none of the room is sound-proof.
2. Ambience - Dark, bad-smelling, no lights and staffs shouting with the voice being echoing all around.
3. Manager - Money minded, completely unprofessional (keeps changing the tariff and talk rubbish).
4. Staff - Completely unprofessional, do not care for guest, no one will atend you, pick your luggage.
5. Room - PATHETIC, no curtains, staff didn't changed the bed sheet and blanket of guest who checked out saying "we never change bed sheet and blanket". Geyser, AC not working, even the tap in washroom do not work properly. No one listen to your complain, the staff and Manager just do not bother.
6. CAUTION - Rooms do not have any electricity backup, we faced power cut frequently.

Positives - NOTHING

We checked out the room just in 4 hours as it was  unbearable to stay here. We took two rooms and had various issue. We searched for another good room in the hotel but all the rooms were similar.

I HUMBLY AND STRICTLY REQUEST NOT TO CHOOSE THIS HOTEL EVEN IF YOU ARE IN NEED.
HIGHLY NOT-RECOMMENDED!!!.
