A quirky, as other people have alluded to property on Beach Road Cherai Beach Kerala, I stayed in the ‘Red Room’ which had all the amenities you need for your stay, these included Air conditioner, kettle, a terrace outside room, complete with water stocked fridge fan, and  good seating. 

The free extras include the sound of the waves of the Laccadive Sea crashing on the rocks, lovely. 

Micky the host, ably assisted by Mahesh, were very assisting, and knowledgeable of the area, breakfast, served on the terrace was superb, if you have coffee ask Micky for a piece of cinnamon bark to put in the coffee .. delicious.

Majo House Cherai Beach Kerala

We spent 3 days at Majo House.  Couldn’t have asked for more.  Mickey is well liked in the area.  Mention where you are staying and eyes light up.  He did his best for us to get our COVID test to re-enter the U.S.  Each morning Mickey would cook us breakfast along with providing delightful conversation.  There are good places to eat but our favorite was the Lilliput.  He is definitely well known there and the staff provided transportation back to Majo when our rickshaw was taking too long.  You will not go wrong staying there and we will return if space is available.

3 days of relaxation

We have stayed several times with Micky at Majo House and enjoyed every minute. Micky and Mahesh certainly make you feel at home in this lovely house, which is right on the waterfront of the warm Arabian Sea and within walking distance to several great restaurants and beach coffee shops. Excellent for relaxation and recharging batteries. We will definitely come back.

When we arrived we were upgraded to the house is beautifully decorated none of the pictures online do it justice  we particularly liked the care that was taken with everything .our breakfast was outstanding.

We loved our stay at Majo House, Micky was an amazing host, we even had dinner with home one evening and he recommended all the best food! we only wish we could have stayed longer! The place is conveniently located by the sea and we went for a nice swim at Chilliout café nearby.

Magical stay

From first setting foot at Majo until the sad moment it was time to go  . .  it was an amazing experience to stay at the Majo House. Excellent service, beautiful & stylish accommodations - this place is the best! On previous trips to Cherai we had tried to stay but the place was booked. We were so happy that this time we got to stay here. From the daily morning yoga and breakfasts to playing on the beach and sunning on the private deck, Majo was so relaxing and dreamy. They also helped with transportation for a day out to Ft Kochi and had great suggestions of where to eat and shop. The owner is a wonderful character and was so welcoming and helpful. We cannot wait for our next trip!  

The place to stay in Cherai Beach

We had a lovely 2 day stay here on Cherai beach, the host Micky was great for advice on restaurants etc and his place is fantastic. We really enjoyed the morning yoga followed by his home made healthy breakfast and both evenings he took us to local restaurants and was great company
The only down side was that the beach has currently washed away! I hope that it and we return soon! 

Fabulous chill out zone

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of Feb, and what a wonderful end to my 2 weeks in India! Beautiful room, wonderfully decorated - cleaned every day, and a lovely breakfast and light lunch left out for me each morning. I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. The sea just a few steps away, a yoga terrace where there is yoga every morning and a beautiful sunset every evening, what more could you ask for! Thank you Majo House for making my stay so lovely!

Beautiful, chilled, welcoming

This time I stayed in the house and in green room!The house is beautifully furnished,with a master bedroom and its private terrace facing the sea! Big kitchen fully equiped so confortable for a family stay or honeymooners!
Micky the owner has added his healthy breakfast to a light lunch!Yoga daily on the roof,ayurvedic doctor and therapists massage next door! A paradise to rest and leave pains and worry behind.Perfectly clean,the ladies will take your laundry and your various stitching.

I just wanted to say how much of an amazing holiday we all had at Majo. I came to Kerala with an open mind but was totally blown away by the regions natural beauty, people, atmosphere, food and general vibe. Mawe stayed in the house which is possibly the most tastefully decorated and furnished accommodation I have ever stayed in and feeds so well off of the local environment. 
Micky, thank you for your overwhelming hospitality and guidance during our stay. It would have been easy to take this for granted but had it not have been for your recommendations and direction a lot of time would have been lost finding out the best places to visit, as so often happens when you visit a new country. Thank you so much for everything and making our stay effortless and relaxed.
