I have loved everything about this place.
1st of all, the host, Deeksha and her husband Ebi are the best. Always trying to help out and they are both very kind so is the entire family!
Deeksha is an amazing cook, I had the best vegetarian (typical Kerala) food over there.
My room was very spacious with a porch viewing the Backwaters. 
The room was very clean and so was the towels and bed leanings.
There was not funky insects in the room, this was my fear as I am phobic when it comes to little bugs.
I would like to add that even though you are near the water there was very little mosquito.
The surroundings of the Farm House are magical!

Very nice quiet place, held by Aby and his family, who are always at your disposal.
The rooms are clean and the food is very good. You can also sleep on a boat.

We had heard that the backwaters in Kerala are amazing but can be quite busy and touristy. A local travel agent sent us here and it was absolutely perfect! It's a bit further north than Alappuzha and so we didn't see another tourist boat all afternoon. Beautiful countryside, lovely people, eco-friendly boats, really relaxing and then waking up the next day on the misty water was just magical!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a lovely place. The views from your porch are lovely. Aby and Jisha take good care of you. Jisha's cooking was wonderful and allowed us to try many Keralan dishes like fish, prawns and coconut dishes. We had our 3 kids with us and they brought two extra mattresses at no extra cost. We arrived late via the intercity train to Turavoor and got a rickshaw to the homestay. We did the boat trip with Sugu which was beautiful and the kids enjoyed learning and seeing about coir being made. We walked around and took out their small canoes as well. They also have bikes for you to take out. The rooms are basic but clean, bathrooms are open to the outside, cold shower and no toilet paper provided. We were confused when we arrived because no one introduced themselves but we have found that to be the way at each homestay. I only wish we had stayed a little bit longer to enjoy the peace here and the delicious food and hospitality. This felt very authentic and quieter than Allepuzha. Thank you Aby and Jisha!

The best thing we did in India was this homestay. The family were so inviting and happy to help us, and cooked really good (and cheap!) fresh meals daily. 
Located in beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful on the backwaters, opening your door and hearing nothing but trees moving and the odd crow. 
Our room was very minimalistic, a mosquito netted bed, a table and some chairs. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! After adjusting to showering in a roofless bathroom it was actually a highlight, washing my hair and looking out at the trees above. Shared a shower with a frog one morning!
When asking for directions to the local shops one evening he offered  to take us himself on his boat. Punting across the river in the black of night, watching the lightening you can see miles away in the mountains, silent aside from the water, is an experience we'll never forget. 
Speaking of unforgettable experiences, my fiancé was given a full body massage by the owner and said it was incredible, almost spiritual. The massage I had however was... unforgettable! Would not recommend to anyone with back problems as the language barrier meant there was no going easy! 
Really lovely family and so worth staying here if you're after a truly relaxing experience.
