A good guest house near to Saturday's haat at Sonajhuri. If you prefer to stay outside of city crowd this could be an ideal place. But after darkness you may feel isolated from outside world if you are a city person. The property is far way from the railway station. Toto (battery rickshaws) are available outside of the hotel to visit other places at Santiniketan till the dusk. Price is OK compare to the arrangements but could be very high in season times like other hotels here. Room in which we stayed was neat and clean. It was winter and geyser we found running 24 hrs. without interruption. Staffs including manager are very helpful and courteous. There is a restaurant too but they arrange on demand basis, so order needs to be given much prior. For those who travel by cars, parking place there is not so big. Inside the property maximum two small cars can be parked.
