Good budget hotel for the ones looking for a economic option. Well located and also serves good food. It is 3 mins walking distance from the beach. It has clean rooms and the staff is very co-operative . Serves hookaa.

Good budget hotel

Fabhotel Ashvem Beach Resort is not serious about offering great Hospitality and Clean rooms. I had booked for 3 nights @ 4500/- per night, after going there we decided to leave the place in 1 day. Cleanliness was a issue to be highlighted and which can be seen from photos shared by me here also AC was making noise all throughout the night and no one came to address the issue. The bed was not firm and after you sleep the body was digging inside. We requested for a Refund but, management did not agree to refund advance paid to them i.e., 5000/-

In attached photos clear stain marks can be seen in Bathroom & curtains. TV wires were peeping out like we usually see in some cheap lodge accommodation. Cupboard was too small to accommodate anything & half of it was furnished also check sealing that had cracks. Overall it was not worth it for anyone to spend 5000/- for this kind of a ROOM.

At checkout we felt really sad & disappointed sincerely felt like our hard earned money got wasted. No one greeted us at checkout as we had cancelled our two nights booking with them. Properties opposite to this resort like La'moure and Treebo were far better and reasonably priced too, they were well maintained.

After such a terrible experience that kind of spoiled our HOLIDAY MOOD in GOA we will never ever recommend this to anyone rather we will spread the word in terms of feedback so that other travellers aware of what they are getting into.

Cleanliness & Maintenance is a big issue here. Beware!

The greeting at the reception was below what can be expected by anyone working in the service industry. We felt from the first moment that we were being ripped off when they tried to give us a room below the standard we had booked for the price of the superior room. The hotel only accepted cash payment up front, and did not want provide receipt of payment, but said: "We will give you a bill upon check-out". After much arguing, we did get a receipt for payment and were shown to our room. Furthermore, we did not receive any information usually provided upon check-in such as breakfast, WiFi password and check-out time. The two porters helping us to the room were inconsiderate and dragged the suitcases along the ground instead of using the wheels on the suitcase.The linens appeared clean, but the floors were dirty. The bathroom is dirty and the walls are thin (you can hear everything going on in the next room). The door only locks with a key, which is connected to the plastic bit that starts power in the room - in effect they want you to choose between having lights on and locking your room. Whatever you do, avoid this place.

The only good thing about this hotel is the stable WiFi

For years, Ashwem has been our default Goa spot. We love the chilled out vibe, the lack of local tourists and of course the beaches.

Last couple of times, we have stayed at ABR and it has come to be our home in Goa. The staff is friendly, and while our expectations were realistic to begin with (this is Goa after all) they pleasantly surprised us with prompt and cheerful service.

The Rooms are what we call cheap and cheerful. Clean linen, super comfortable mattresses and modern style works well for us. The bathrooms are basic but spacious, but that’s more than acceptable.

Their in house cafe has some simple, home style food that I enjoy. Their Choriz, Eggs and a Doppio are my favourite way to start my Goa mornings. Yes, they serve great coffee. 

The beach is 5 minutes away by foot and their pool is great for the times you don’t want to get salt water and sand in you. 

All in all, a homely experience every time that keeps us coming back!!
