Good stay, very friendly staffs and nice location. Nice ambience and ideally located on the banks of vembanad lake. Good swimming pool. Make sure to book the lake view rooms (I think only 3 such rooms available) for better views.  

Good Stay

We booked 2 rooms for 2 families on a weekday. We arrived early and agreed to pay for an early check in fees. There was a heavy storm previous night and there was frequent power cuts. TV was not working and it was the case even after repeated complaints. Food was ok. Overall and average experience.

Not a pleasant memory

The location of the resort is excellent and the ambiance! We were a group 9 booked the resort for a leisure cum business trip. The rooms were done up spartan(Keralastyle) need more care and regular maintenance. The swimming pool was kept well also the garden around. The food was ok being in the lakeside you expect always some good sea food! For a cup of morning tea you may have to wait till 8 30 am. Staff were very courteous and helpful! The photos of the rooms do not give you exact shape of what is inside.

Over all an Average Experience

booked 3 rooms @ 5200 each paying extra specially for lake viewing. no lake view rooms given. we got room no 101,104 & 106. None of the rooms are upto the mark and very poorly maintained.If you stay in these rooms dont pay more that 3k per day. One more thing all rooms in this resort are with OPEN BATHROOM HAVING NO ROOF. simply awkward.U can go for room no 103 & 104 which they have maintained well. otherwise very average property. we booked for 2 days and at the end of the 1st day we decided to shift and went to PalmGrove resort hardly 1km from this resort @ 3000 per day per room. We took lunch @ 400 and then decided not to spend anymore here. WE HAVE TAKEN FEW PICS OF INSIDE ROOM PLS CHECK AND DECIDE

Dont book by the looks or photos inside is terrible

This is the second time Iam visting this property and the booking was well taken care and we had enjoyed the stay in the hotel.The food was nice and also the rooms was comfort .The lady at the reception was so helpful and also the guy from the restaurant .Definitely I will be back again to the hotel.

Pleasant Stay

At first instance it seems to be little orthodox and unsafe at night for lonely couple.  However,  atmosphere is eclectic.  Property is well maintained housing good restaurant,  swimming pool, rooms with AC and wooden furniture and walls. Open bathroom is its uniqueness. Hotel reception is quite helpful in booking auto to ferry to city center as the resort is little away from the town.

Experience Heritage charm surrounding beach  pool.

1) Not too far from the city....since it is located in remote corner of the city, with narrow lane, kind of isolated corner, gives an impression like too far. Not easy to get back to city, particularly in late night. I wonder at late night if a guest needs a milk or coffee or food for the kids how that will be met by the staff or some medical emergency. 2) But right on the banks of the lake - early morning to watch the sun rise is quite an experience. I was out there at 5 AM, no guest outside, alone only with a company of swans around,  watching the sunrise and even little meditation ..wow ...worth the stay. Two days at the early morning, an elderly lady, alone in tiny boat rowing and fishing passing thru the sunrise at the background....is like a painting, only God can provide such a beautiful painting like scenery on huge canvas.3) We took only breakfast and one time lunch - just ok, no complaints.4) Staffs are very helpful and friendly.5) Depends on you - could be romantic, best place for meditation, for painter and writers. Even just staying alone watching the lake, the beauty of the sunrise, house boat floating and passing by - brings peace of mind.6) Arrived very early, the cab driver so honest with the charges as per Govt. approved rate from the railway  station7) Staff helped to provide temp room to refresh till they get the proper room.

Hotel on beautiful location , quite clean and nice staff BUT at nearly USD $85 a night more than double it's worth. No Internet in lakeside bedrooms despite advertising it , toilet would not flush and really smelly, restaurant had a great menu but only one or two items available and for exorbitant price - a rip off really

Vastly overpriced but pretty location

AC not working, TV not there, bathroom not properly cleaned ( and has insects at night). Very very slow response from the team. Food and scenery are great

Nice location but poorly managed.

We made the reservation very late (we had missed a reservation). we went on Tuk Tuk from Allipey (60R$). the occupancy at this hotel was low, and when we saw the (spectacular) pool next to our cabin room, we decided to stay, no doubt. The room is correct. It is very nice. The breakfast is good. Very worked. One of the best hotels in our stay in India: when you open the door, you can see the lake.
