Uday Bed & Breakfast

We were on a one day daytime tour to Agra with parents and uncle and family members on 14/10/14. Opted the Uday Bed and Breakfast for a first time experience as we always prefer for family run guest houses. The experience after checking in far exceeded the expectations of a family run hospitality venture. Mr U B Singh the owner was ever eager to serve us with whatever help and assistance we would look for. Our day started with home made stuffed Puris and sabzi made by Mrs Singh. Though two of us had intended to have breakfast, the taste and recipe of local cuisine tempted others too to join us. The location of the GH is very good and convenient being a residential area. Mr Singh has good connect with Taxi/Auto agencies for very reasonably priced pick up and drop from Station. The Rooms are very large, spotlessly clean, with modern amenities, running hot and cold water, fresh furnishing and relaxed ambience. There is a good open sit-out in first floor where one could laze around in breezy environment, sipping tea or browsing on your laptop or reading books. A very interesting and experienced person in hospitality industry having retired from a leading hospitality hotel chain , Shri Singh would keep you in good humor with various stories and cultural experiences of guests and visitors to Agra. Food and snacks home cooked and served by the family speaks of warmth and affection which is what you relish more and are very reasonable priced personally by Mr Singh, without any formal menu systems. Looking forward to stay more with Uday B&B soon and seek what We would have missed during this short one day trip. Overall a very wonderful and thrilling experience.
