Location is great, a little out of town but the views are brilliant.

Easy to find the cottages are clean and comfortable.

If the weather is OK sittiing out in the tub is a great way to spend the evening.

Beautiful location

Such an amazing location and view of the fjord.  So isolated and private, and yet... there are decals on the central window of the south facing view so that the beauty from indoors is interrupted. Very windy when we were there so very noticeable to us from our cozy, in fact, sometimes too cozy!, living room.  The shower was a problem; impossible to keep the water inside the shower stall. The hot tub smelled horribly of chlorine (after all the beautiful geothermal springs of Iceland this was an assault to the senses-- and health!).  We were told it was necessary to the health inspector.  Bad for the fjord but good for the health inspector.  And the lights... ouch. there is a porch light that is set to stay ON all the time and given that we were hoping for full moon or northern lights, whichever came up for us, the lights were a nuisance.  Apparently the few street lights on this very rural road are at the behest of the town of Seydisfjordur and therefore must be on as well. Gosh, that was annoying!  Nice host though, working nearby, who stopped to make sure all was well. He really did try to help.  Overall, it was a disappointing stay given the overall great location and nice sheets!

could be better

Positives:
1) Location - on the left side of Seydisfjordur fjord, just a few minute drive from the town centre, close to the path leading to the Vestdalur nature reserve. 2) Spacious - 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and large terrace. 3) Outdoor hot tub with a great view of the fjord . 4) Clean and fully equipped kitchen. 5) Free WiFi. 6) Easy process to collect keys on arrival - the owner sent us a code for the key box, located next to the front door.

Negatives:
1) Shower cabin was leaking, so the whole bathroom floor was wet - we had to put towels and rugs on it to be able to walk into the bathroom. 2) Internet was not working - had to message the owner a number of times to get it fixed and when it was fixed, the connection was slow. 3) No TV channels - but there was a DVD player and a  collection of old DVDs. 4) Very small fridge.

Cottage in a beautiful setting

Very nice scenery. Living in this house is comfortable and convenient. Heaters are sufficient. Kitchen is good. Landlord is friendly and supportive. The living room is big enough for all guests to relax together. There’s also a bathtub outside but we didn’t use it.

Nice place to stay

Group of 6 sharing this beautiful accommodation. We were so happy upon arrival to see this place. 
Owner were attentive and informative when I call in for question. 
Well equip with all utensils and barbecue stove is ready to go. 
We had a good stay here with beautiful Seydisfjordur view, quiet , cozy and serene stay.

Fantastic view and cozy cottage

These 3 cabins are a couple of km after and right by the path that leads to the Vestdalur nature reserve.
They are large and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen, including the required  appliances.

The owner changed the layout of the cottages so that now there are 3 rooms and they are good for families.

it is one of a kind cottages one must stay  - beautiful view of the mountain and fjord. fully equipped kitchen and good size accommodation for three. We saw some wild horses roaming around. able to witness some northern lights when we stayed which made it even special.

Had a great stay at this cozy cabin.  It was really nice to have a full little living room to stretch out and relax.  The hot tub was lovely with a beautiful view across the water.  One of our favourite accommodations during our trip around Iceland.
