Great staff, Zoltan speaks great English and his experience in Hospitality shows. Welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch. Hotel was easy to find and is ideal if visiting the thermal baths in Zalakaros. Lots of space in the rooms, comfy bed and good A/C. Jacuzzi and Saunas are available to all guests. Nice place to relax. Half board is great value, Thanks

Beautiful surroundings,forest,nice lake,fresh air. Perfect hotel for families with babies,little children and dogs. Hotel has a wellness spot too with 3 saunas,including an infra sauna and an indoor jacuzzi. Professional and very warm welcome and service.Lots of outdoor activities in the nearby.

We had a wonderful weekend at Villa Natura with my family. I was looking for a dog-friendly place to stay and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. 
There are some apartments at the ground level with a tiny private garden which is great place for your dog for a shorter time but there is also a huge public kennel/garden with strong fence and dog houses where you can leave your four-legged friend even for a day if needed. The crew is very friendly and helpful and even check on your dog in the kennel/garden if you wish.
The area around the hotel is beautiful, you step from your room right out to the pure nature. A perfect place for long walks with your dog. 
Really, in short... it is a dog paradise.

Great retreat

Dog Paradise

While the location is nice, our experience wasn't the best. To start, we waited a good fifteen minutes to be checked in because only the manager spoke English and he was busy. Once we climbed two flights of stairs to our room, we realized we were in the attic and with every few steps would end up hitting our head on the extremely low ceiling. And to make matters worse, our room was quite old fashioned and A/C did not work so we ended up tossing and turning all night. There was a spider in the room as well, which may be due to being near woodland but still not a pleasant experience. The food and hospitality was good though.

Serviceable

Lovely quiet location with a nice lake in the back yard. 30 minute drive to Lake Balaton.

Many of the handles on the furniture were either missing or broken. Despite advertising that there was cable TV it did not exist and the TV was an old Analogue set with no English channels. This is a pet friendly hotel (which we were not aware of until we checked in). There were dog paw prints on the walls and we found fleas in the second bedroom. Many of the blinds and curtains were damaged so it was difficult to black out the room. Water pressure was low so the shower was just above a dribble and the sink had no plug so shaving was an effort. These were the good bits! Breakfast was very ordinary and it is the first time that I have seen fried eggs cooked so long that they could be used as tyres. The scrambled eggs were laced with enormous amounts of Paprika and Onions. We were on a half board package but the dinner was served cold and was almost as bad as the breakfast. We sent our dinners back to be microwaved so that they were at least room temperature.  The bed was very hard and the cleaning was cursory at best. The WiFi was Ok but went down for half a day during our stay.
