73 reviewsWe did the Acatenango Hike with wicho & charlie's and were very pleased by their service. The guides Osvin, Jorge and Henry were amazing. They took care of the group very well, spoke English, were funny, informative and made us feel safe the whole time. The hike was challenging but the agency provides everything you need for free and extras for a small fee. We recommend renting the trekking poles, they helped us a lot, especially when you only wear sneakers and no hiking boots like us. A plus of wicho&Charlie's is that you can sleep in little cabins in the basecamp and not tents like the other agencies. They are very simple and small but enough for one night and most likely keep you warmer than tents. Considering the environment it would be difficult to provide anything better. All in all, an unforgettable experience that you don't want to miss when visiting Guatemala. We would definitely choose wicho&Charlie's again.
