Sor Juana has become number 1 without doubt! Julio, the owner and manager, is an absolutely exceptional host. His genuine desire to provide the utmost experience for his guests is clearly what he loves to do. From the lovely scents to the exquisite rooftop garden, careful attention is given to every detail. Our breakfast was served with a variety of fresh produce from the hotel's garden. There were fresh figs from the tree in the courtyard, kumquat and lavender marmalade, a sprig of sage in the freshly made butter, and purple basil leaves in the eggs -- all from the rooftop garden. When we arrived on the rooftop patio for breakfast our places were already set. The service was perfect -- someone was always there to take our place or bring our next course. The location is great. It's a very short walk to any kind of cuisine you might desire, yet not right in the bustling center. We stayed in the king suite -- lots of space with tall ceilings and a courtyard. Very clean and tidy with comfortable couches and beautiful furniture. With only 6 rooms in the hotel, every room has its own unique touch. If you feel like making a fire in the fireplace ask for room #2.
