We absolutely loved our stay at Angel Studios. The ladies who run the hotel are so kind and helpful, really lovely people. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. The swimming pool and area were also very clean, and it's a really nice pool. If we had any questions or needed help planning where to go, where to eat, travel issues etc, they were always on hand to help. Bed was comfy, the A/C worked great. There were zero mosquitos! I always get bitten a lot in Greece but for the first time I'm leaving Greece bite-free! The bathroom in our room was especially nice, a very long room with a rain shower that also has a side nozzle. The room was decorated nicely with cute little touches. In terms of location, it's about 10 minutes' walk from Fira, or less than 5 minutes on the bus/driving. There are 3 cafes within a minute's walk, a couple of gyros places just up the street, a taverna, and a mini-market, so you have everything you need. The shops and restaurants on the road from Katherathos to Fira are much less expensive than places in Fira, with the same or sometimes better quality. The hotel is quiet at night, it's sort of in a dip which I think stops any nearby noise reaching it. A perfect stay, could not be happier. Really excellent value for money.

Wonderful stay

This is a cute little hotel, we stayed for 3 nights, staff extremely helpful.. we had a triple room on the ground floor over looking the garden, the pool area is small but adequate.. very clean room and grounds, town about 15 minute walk, bus stop right outside, local restaurant was lovely as was the bakers across the road. The hotel is near the main road which was fine didn’t hear any noise my only issue was that to access you have to walk down a short steep hill which some may find a challenge.

Fantastic

We spend 2 nights at Santorini and were very satisfied. It's about an easy 20 minute walk from Fira. A supermarket, tavernas, bakeries are within 5 min walking distance.
The host was very kind and really interested that we had a nice stay. She even hace is a souvenir gift at the end. We know that in times of corona it is difficult but she arranged everything as perfect as possible. For the breakfast we got a Voucher to eat in a bakery on the other side of the street. Good idea.
Thanks for everything and we definetely will book again when we come back to gorgeaus Santorini ohne day.

Great Hotel with many little details

Very kind host and family ! Many attentions who make us feel comfortable.
Place is not too crowed who is really pleasant ! Rooms are really clean, good restaurants not far (if prefere quiet places) and bar. Fair price, highly recommanded ! :)

The staff at Angel Studios were incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location just outside of Fira with easy access to the rest of Santorini. We stayed for my 30th birthday and the hotel staff could not have been kinder. The room we had was clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom seems to have been newly renovated as it is very modern and simply stunning. We stayed in the Waterlily room which has a double and single bed. The single bed works as a sofa as it is a daybed. The view from the balcony is gorgeous; overlooking the garden with a view out towards to the Aegean Sea.

The pool is a good size with plenty of space for the sun lounges around the edge of the pool. The hotel provide towels on the lounges. The water was cold, however this was lovely due to the high temperatures in the sun. 

Breakfast consisted of a large variety of breads, pastries and fresh fruit. There were plenty of places to sit in the stunning garden and everypool table felt secluded and private.

This hotel have us the most incredible experience of our holiday. We stayed for two nights during a two week holiday in Crete.

A birthday to remember

Great value hotel within a 20 minute walk of Fira, the Family who run and work in the hotel really makes this place a gem, they are very warm and welcoming!
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the island.

Fantastic Time

What a helpfull people and a good place to stay. The Bakery up the Road had great coffee. The rooms are funny decorated, the swimming pool is very nice. The family who runs this place make the difference. 15 minutes walk to Fira town and next to bus stop to visit other places on the Island.

Santorini best stay

What a great place to stay, from the pick up from the airport by the wonderful Rania to the lovely room and great location. The beauty of this place is that whilst it's not a classic Santorini white house/blue roof clinging to the caldera, it is only a 15 min walk to the capital Fira and the nearby shops, bars, bakeries and restaurants are as good in quality, but less costly than those in Fira. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and looked after us both extremely well. Breakfast in the garden was great and we spent two of our seven days here just relaxing by the pool. If you are looking to explore Santorini and not empty your wallet on more up-market places then stay here, you'll be impressed!

Little Gem

You feel at home as soon as you step in. This family run business has been the perfect place for 6 nights in Santorini: room very clean, breakfast excellent (I've loved the fresh fruit plate every morning and the home made cakes !). In a word, it has been a wonderful experience. Thanks for all !!

The perfect place !!

The hosts were indeed quite nice so it feels strange having to write this, but I wish I had seen more honest reviews before we booked. The decoration is... something else, very kitsch bordering on creepy, and the room, while cleaned everyday, still seemed outdated and in need of a make-over. Didn't feel like Santorini at all, more like an old motel in America... 

Because of covid, breakfast is being served by the bakery on the other side of the street and the owner doesn't seem too keen on having the pension's clients, she makes it clear that it is not her priority so it takes way too much time. The location is good, in that all the buses stop nearby (about 200 m), but the surroundings aren't pleasant, just convenient. 

We've had much nicer stays elsewhere in Greece and therefore wouldn't recommend it unless you can get past the weird vibe and all you want to do is stay by the pool. A much better choice would be to stay in the old village of Karterados, or in Akrotiri.
