I think some of the previous reviews  don’t do any fairness to this place. 
The place is basic but quite, clean with its owners always accommodating. It’s priced very reasonably and as we live in the Covid era they were happy to just take our word we’re coming without any deposit or prepayment . 
If you are looking for Hilton like luxuries turn elsewhere . This place is no more than 30 meters away from the beach with free loungers and on site taverna. The kids can run back and forth to the room, and help themselves to treats at the taverna. Mihalis(the owner) is always there to help.

Room was OK. Kitchenette was inadequate if you are expecting to use... The booking form said that breakfast was included which it wasnt. Blo restaurant, attached, however was very good and setting is lovely...Panormos is probably the nicest on the island

OK rooms, misleading booking.

We spend almost 10 days there last Summer and I was little dissapointed by the location and by the island of Skopelos as well. Blo is difficult to spot even when you're near, it's not properly signalized. There were 2 major things that I hated: 
1 - cleaning was not a priority - for several day no one bothered to broom our corridor at the first floor or to change the towels
2 - the beach which is in the back of the location is awful, with small rocks so one cannot walk without slippers
Between the location & the beach lays family's restaurant, which can be a good and also a bad thing on turn. The food was ok, but not variated (unfortunatelly). But you can have cocktails on the beach, which was good.

So and so

We have stayed for 5 days in this hotel and it has been a major disappointment. The rooms did not meet at all the expectations we had for the room based on the photos posted by the hotel on the internet. 

Staff and management of the hotel paid little attention to cleanliness of our room.  During our stay we had nobody took care of the room or changed sheets for 3 days. There was some cleaning during the fourth day only but very superficial. Smells from the draining system of the hotel were present late noon and early evening when residents returning from the sea were having showers. Along with this there were a lot of insects visiting our room.

Also little attention was paid to the maintenance of the room (ie shower not working properly and nobody had checked before arrival, doors not closing properly, power sockets not properly mounted on the wall etc) and the tidyness around the building. 

Some of the advertised properties of the hotel did not meet the expectations. 

Sea view is one of the example. If you expect a magnificent sea view you will most probably be disappointed. The hotel is located behind the tavern which actually blocks most of the view towards the sea. There is only some view of some pieces of sea behind the tavern roof and some trees. Most of it a mountain view which is not bad but it is not a sea view.  

Parking is another example. There is a parking as advertised but you will find out that the limited parking places are not reserved for the hotel but it is actually "shared " with the visitors of the tavern and the visitors coming for the free sunbeds at the sea. This results into problems to park your car when returning in noon/afternoon hours.

The only good thing is the close proximity with the beach which is very nice but this hardly compensates for the rest.

A big disappointment

 If you want to ruin your holiday, I highly recommend it !!!
 We talked on the phone about booking and asked for a room with a view of the sea, they told me they have, but eventually they don't, because they can't have it with the tram that the building is built on!  When I said this, what I got in response was that it didn't happen and nothing since the sea is so close, let me go there to see it!  What about cleanliness?  Absence!  You want to rest here and there. All under scrutiny !!  We left earlier than we had calculated because of this ugly situation !!  People have no chips on their shoulders, no demeanor, no respect for customers, and that seems at all levels !!  They kidnap at the expense of people who wait for their holidays to rest and fall on such ones .... no word can I characterize them !!  The shame of tourism are these gentlemen !!!

Never again!!!!!

We booked a room for a week but had to leave earlier during the second day due to the awful smell and the lack of cleanliness. The rooms were dirty and room maintenance was pure. Staff and management was practically absent and service provided was disappointing. Unwillingness to help and indifference towards the problems we faced were the main characteristics of the service.The hotel failed to complete the expectations created by the several advertising photos available throughout the internet and was an overall disappointment resulting to our holidays being completely ruined.
