I was worried whether this hotel was going to be ok, especially as we were taking friends, who has never been to Skiathos before, but I had no need - it was a cute and quirky hotel with lovely staff who worked very hard, especially Dimitra who went over and above to make us all feel welcome and make sure we were happy with everything. 
The rooms were very traditional, but had everything we need and amazingly comfortable beds and pillows. Nice clean sheets and towels and a tiny balcony. 
There were some lovely little touches, such as a little hessian bag, all packed with towel and flip flops for the beach.

Great little hotel

Had a fantastic stay at Thymi’s, would definitely stay here again. Great central location,  friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast selection and also mini bar in the room. Pool towels are also provided that you are able to take to the beach as well

Comfortable and friendly

Warm welcome on check in, everything explained well.
Secure hotel, very clean and very quiet at night.
Perfect location for bars/Restaurants and shops.
Good choice of continental breakfast served from 8am.
Our cases were dropped off at the hotel, but not picked up on departure, but it wasn’t very far to the collection point for the Airport.
Would definitely stay again, both ladies on reception were lovely and very helpful.

Holiday with a friend Skiathos town

We liked the location of the hotel, and the small pool was welcoming on a hot day. Definitely more of a plunge pool, and was quite deep.

On our visit I have to say there was quite a few negatives.
Unfortunately didn’t get any names of the front staff, as they didn’t introduce themselves.

The young lass that checked us in, wasn’t very welcoming or helpful in the check in process.  Nor was she on the ball with the breakfast service. Coffee machine kept breaking down, and the breakfast items wasn’t replenished on a frequent basis, and many times items had to be requested.

The rooms were kept clean and tidy on a daily basis, with fresh towels given when placed in the shower. The air conditioning was good, and very quiet. 

Just be careful going through the sliding doors, as if you stop to talk with someone you can get caught out, and bang into them

Our room was ok with a reasonable sized balcony, but our friends had tiny rooms.  All the toilets however needed to be flushed for long periods to clear the waste, sometimes having to use the toilet brush as an extra push, though that made us all laugh.

The rest of the staff we had dealings with were ok and friendly, and as said previously the location for visiting the town was good, just a couple of noisy people at night, but you can’t blame the hotel for that

Good location ……but

First visit to Thymi’s Home and won’t be our last we’ve already booked to return next year. Vassia and the ladies are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in Room 2 which was a nice size with a small balcony overlooking the street. Yes you get scooters whizzing past during the day but really quiet at night. Lovely little pool, continental breakfast with lovely Greek touches such as cheese pie, local cheeses and olives if wanted. You can have the rooms cleaned daily if you wish we went for every other with clean towels every time. The touches such as branded hessian bag and flip flops which you can bring home were welcome. Aircon was the best we have ever had and boy was it needed by the time we left. Temperatures were on the up and reached 36 one day. 
Little supermarket, bakers, restaurants and snack bars right on doorstep, a 5 minute walk to Papadiamantis Street and about 10 to 15 minutes to the ports and Bourtzi. 
In summary great little traditional hotel with all you need on doorstep.

I have stayed at the Thymi's Home many times over the last 23 years, and knew what a great location in the heart of Skiathos Town it is, and what fantastic amenities this hotel offers for allegedly only a three star property.

My most recent stay this September coincided with the Island being hit by Storm Daniel, a truly catastrophic event that I had ever experienced.

The response from the Superb Team of Three, Julia, Chrysa, and Vana was truly unbelievable!

Julia appeared to be ever present for 72 hours, maintaining a never ending bar service until the early hours for three days, plus snacks  whilst the rest of the bars and restaurants recovered in Town.

Although the whole Island was without running water for two days, Chrysa some how still managed to provide a full breakfast service. Whilst Vana amazingly still maintained her unbelievable high standards of cleanliness in all 18 rooms.

These Ladies are truly amazing, and I hope that the Owners of the property realise how fortunate they are to have such wonderful staff, who go way beyond what is asked of them. I hope that they are still there when I return in 2024, because without them it wouldn't be the same.

Thymi's Home Unbelievable Service

Visited as a couple plus friend. Lovely staff. Clean comfortable room. Couple of minutes walk from Papadiamanti Street but not very noisy. Room 11 has partial mountain view. Generous breakfast, yogurt, fruit, etc. Would definitely stay here again. 

Lovely little hotel in centre of Town 

The hotel was so comfortable and friendly. The team headed by Julia where so accommodating nothing was too much trouble for them. We were there during the sever weather and even though they only provided breakfast they rustled up sandwiches at night as all the restaurants were closed. The rooms are lovely even with a USB socket at the side of the bed. The fridge was fully equipped not just with drinks bur also snacks. The shower was large with scolding hot water. Will definitely go again

Excellent Hotel

A very good hotel in a side street of Skiathos town. Very clean hotel with two lovely ladies on reception who will do anything they can to make your stay a good one. Rooms a good size and quirky with a slate stone floor with rugs and rough cement like walls. The beds are very comfortable and the best hotel pillows we've had in a long time. There is free fridge, aircon and safe in the room and a good modern shower, small but efficient. The pool is nice and the area around it.  Only downside for us was the small balcony with no view but we knew this before we came and it did not spoil our holiday.  Breakfast was good. No hot food but toast with many different toppings, croissants, fruit and yogurt, cold meats etc. Lovely coffee machine too so many thanks to all at Thymis Home Hotel for a lovely week with you in a lovely town with so many good restaurants!!

Amazing holiday

Just got back from spending two wonderful weeks at this very friendly small hotel. Tzoulia and Charrisa were two perfect hosts who went out of there way to please (including decorating our room on my wife's birthday with balloons and banners and proving wine and a red rose).
If we return to Skiathos next year Thymis Home is our number 1 choice. Thanks to all of the staff for making our holiday so perfect.
