Capitans Hotel is great, awesome customer service, Great city.

The rooms are very clean. They have air-conditioning.

The quaility, price ration is great 👍.

During my 1 week stay at this hotel I had no issues at all! Love this hotel and place.

They also have good free wifi.

One of the best Hotels Available in Greece for a good price.

Very nice and cosy accomodation in Panormos, Crete. We had a beautiful 3-level-appartment for two persons. The house is near different beaches  and the village itself is very central at the northern coast of crete. Special thanks to Giulia, the soul of the house, for always smiling and spreading joy and happines.

Nice and cosy accomodation

We found this lovely place after wandering round the little village, we got the table on the front under the balcony, overlooking the sea. Sunset was fabulous. Waiter was very attentive but not pushy, we only wanted drinks at first but decided to eat there as well. Food well cooked and presented, fish starters then lamb, all tasty. Wine recommended by the staff, not the most expensive, it was local and very good. 
Complimentary desserts and a ouzo to finish. 
We returned a couple of nights later intending to try another restaurant but decided again on the Captains House
It cost around €70 for two, gins as drinks, starters, main courses and a bottle of wine,

Great food, views and staff

Although the guide books warned that eateries on the harbour were over priced for what you got the view from the Captains House could not be missed. Stunning views over the harbour and to the sea beyond.  The food alas was a bit mediocre. The tzatziki was nice enough and ordered bread with that and the peppers done in tomato sauce with feta were delicious. For mains we thought we’d try Cretian dishes. The beef and onion stew was ok, nicely flavoured with cinnamon but with cuts of beef including sinew and ventricles. The lamb and tomato was very much the same consistency and tasted much the same save for the cinnamon. Lamb was lovely and tender obviously long slow cooked. Both were served completely unimaginatively with rice and not so great chips. It looked unappealing and with little thought as to the presentation. The staff were polite enough but not very attentive and took over 20 minutes to bring the bill once asked even though it was really quiet. Maybe with the best view in the village they don’t feel they have to try very hard.

We visited the the nearby beach twice and couldn’t fault the Captains House restaurant- great views, great food and excellent service. Such a great choice of freshly made produce - the beer and drinks were great as well. A great place to visit!

Restaurant excellent 

We had a lovely meal here. The food was lovely, with a great variety of dishes on the menu, and the staff were delightful. It is a great location - right on the sea front. It is reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend it.

Very good food and very good priced !!!!! Me and my partner ate hear as a one off , we paid 30 euros and we had two meals each with drinks. It’s right by the sea front and we had complimarty fruit for desert

Captains restaurant

We loved this quiet hotel! Comfortable beds, very kind staff and a restaurant next door that was nice. We were here in April, and after the craziness of Rome this felt like such a tranquil break! There is a fun little hike nearby to a lighthouse, and the beach next to the hotel is good for a quick jump in the Mediterranean Sea. It’s still a bit chilly in April, but we swam laps out to the bouys and back.
