Everything was perfect! The view outstanding (we lived at The Paris room). 
A quiet place near to everything. A beautiful city, a lovely room and a delicious breakfast! Easy communication, clean room and well functioning aircondition👍 10/10!

We loved it all!

This hotel is a gem. Centrally located and close to everything.  I stayed in their “Paris” room, had two balconies with a beautiful view of the city, the bay and Palamadi Fortress.  The staff is super friendly and nice and will go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home.  The room is spacious and clean, and they provided free water and coffee, which are much appreciated by a tired traveler.  Highly recommended.

Great hotel

Porto Bello Nafplio are resists. They rejected my booking because I‘m Ukrainian telling me thet ALL Ukrainians booking them to cancel booking 14 days before a trip, it wasn’t interested Ger that my plane Tickets/other Hotels in other cities for other dates are payed/ that I study in Germany and even sent her my Visa, I have screenshots of the whole conversation and I‘m sure that resist and so low Service Hotel can’t have rate in high rate google.

Resist Hotel with disgusting communication!!!

We stumbled across this hotel when we strolled through the alleys of old Nafplio, and spontaneously decided to stay here over night. It was the right decision: The room was absolutely beautiful, quiet at night, with a fantastic view and some cats dozing peacefully under the balcony. This is the kind of place I would recommend to close friends.

Really fantastic!

The hotel is not bad although you have to climb many stairs and cannot access it by car, you need to leave your car somewhere quite abandoned. The room was large with a good terrace although a bit old. Downtown was close and nice. 

The owner, when we told her that something serious came up and that we will stay 1 night instead of 2, she charged me for two nights and then SHE LIED BOOKING THAT WE WERE A NO SHOW, THAT WE NEVER SHOWED UP. She did this to avoid paying to Booking and to avoid a not so.good review. And that was a LIE, we stayed there for one night and paid for the second night, too.
Booking, however, called me and asked me what the truth is. They kept investigating and eventually they discovered that the owner lied. They put the trip back to my account, to my list of trips and allowed the review. 

Very bad to lie that the customer never showed up when they did!

Her response to my Booking review was that she should have called the police (!!!) when I did nothing but paid her the entire vacation and she lied that we didn't show up. 

Too bad that we had to have this experience and spoil the wonderful things of the town. I am sure there are other places much more welcoming.

Not a good experience

We stayed for 4 nights in the London room. The view is amazing, the room was very clean (and was cleaned every day!) and very nice decorated with a very good bed. Staff is friendly and very helpful (we forgot something in the room and they sent it to us the next day!) 
Despite the many stairs you have to climb to reach Porto Bello, the view and the room is it definitely worth! Would stay again! 
Also the historical center of the city is very beautiful and a trip worth!

We would stay again!

This is a small hotel - only a few rooms. We stayed at Porto Bello on Sept, 19 & 20, 2018. The room was spacious, well-equipped with a balcony & wonderful views. The young staff was friendly & attentive. The breakfast is a great deal!  My only issue is the location. The "street" is actually a staircase leading up from the port area or down from the ruins of the castle. People with mobility issues may have a problem. Otherwise, excellent. We would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay, with one proviso.

The hotel is well located in the old town of the city. The room was spacious and clean and as there is no breakfast room in the hotel, the breakfast is served in your room and you can enjoy at the balcony. This was really, really nice! In general the hotel was nice, clean and staff friendly.

Would definitely come again

We stayed for 4 nights at the Porto Bello Design Hotel. Perfect location where you can find serenity at the resort . The rooms were spacious and the hygiene/cleanliness gets a big 10/10 from me. SUPERIOR BOARDS !!!!! The best Art design boutique hotel in greece!!An absolutely spectacular place. Beautiful grounds, stylish and large rooms and the staff are fantastic!! It is true Greek hospitality in the most majestic setting!thanks :))
