Apollo Pavilion is within walking distance to everything - stores, beaches, and restaurants.  It is extremely clean and well run by Lucy and her staff.  Lucy treats everyone like family!  Bonus for the delicious breakfast delivered to your room each morning.

Great Location!

This hotel was a nice surprise. Close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The room was big and the furnitures were a bit out of date. Bed looked hard, but it was better than it looked. I didn't cook, but there seemed to be everything you need to make a simple meal. 
Every part of the hotel was kept very clean.
Wifi worked fine for my needs.
I loved the balcony with a view of the castle (even saw deer one morning!).
Breakfast was brought to the room every morning – different every day. A nice touch, but I would have preferred to arrange it myself as I am kind of picky.
The little town has a nice mixture of restaurants and shops, laid back and not too touristy. The nearby beaches were really good.
I hope to return to Limnos soon and Apollo Pavillon will be my first choice of lodging.

View of the castle

one of my first criteria is location and I hit right on the money. the location is on the market street as well between the two harbors. this hotel was beautiful build in the 80s and is been kept updated until now. the rooms are nice and clean. the clean the room as well as the duty dishes that we left behind us and every day we left a lot of dishes(family of five). the hotel has a private parking without sheds. I loved Myrina and I will go again to Myrina as well as the same hotel.

The Apollo Pavilion is a lovely oasis of peace and calm in the centre of this wonderful town. It is situated in a quiet little lane 3 minutes from the port and main shopping street, surrounded by gardens and allotments.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, cool and welcoming. Our room had everything we needed for our 8 night stay, was well maintained and a lovely cool, peaceful place to return to after a day's activities.

We had 8 great nights sleep, with only the occasional rooster crowing (well it is Greece and I wouldn't want it any other way) to remind us of where we were.

Best of all however is the lovely owner Lucy, who from my first contact via email, to us saying goodbye when we left, exuded true philoxenia and made us feel very welcome and eager to share all the information we needed about the island.

We shall return to both Myrina and The Apollo Pavilion, both were great finds and an experience that need to be repeated - and soon.

For what it's worth, here are my 3 tips for enjoying your stay even more :-
1. If you fancy a walk, the lovely chapel of Panaghia Kakaviotissa (the chapel in a cave) is about an hours walk from the hotel. It is about 60% gently uphill, but really worth it. Find the small hospital ( about 5 mins from hotel), keep that on the left of you and walk up past it and round a curve in the road, after about 200mtrs there is a dirt road off to the left with a handwritten sign to the chapel. Follow this dirt road, cross over the ring road and then start the gentle climb following the dirt road. Eventually you'll come to a manmade shelter and some steps cut into the rock - follow these steps and the chapel is 20mins from there - stunning.

2. If you're up and about early (5am ish), come out of the hotel onto the cobbled street, turn left and walk up to the main shopping street and you'll see the castle deer when they come down to look for food - a beautiful sight.

3. get a car and go explore - the roads were great quality, pretty empty and easy to navigate around. The beaches and ancient sites are fantastic

An Oasis in Beautiful Myrina

My wife and i stayed 9 nights here , the owner Lucy was great , breakfast was supplied , and was ok nothing special slices of ham cheese bread fruit, tea and coffee juice, varys from day to day , bed ok but matress rather hard , dont expect the room to be cleaned every day seems only every second or third day, if you arrive early , 7am and get inside the entrance and it seems nobody is there to your left you will see a door with welcome on it and a door bell on the wall just ring it or knock on the door as Lucy lives there, she give you your key and dont forget to ask for the wifi password , also she recomended holiday car rental to us for the best rate , hired a car no probs at all , only to get around to see all the sites hire a 4x4 . Apollo Pavillion nice place to stay quiet and close to shops.
