This hotel it looks like it was a nice big complex, but it now needs a lot of investment to look decent. The best thing is the excellent food and it's very quiet. Staff are very polite and friendly. The prices are low and this is probably due to the condition of the hotel. 

Total makeover needed

I stayed at Levendi for 5 weeks in June-July 2009 for a study abroad program. Our classes were held in their conference room during the week. The staff was very helpful and pleasant with all our requests. The conference room was large enough for all 20+ students and all of our belongings. Wi-Fi was also available in the main hotel. However, we stayed in the bungalows so did not have Wi-Fi in our rooms. 

The bungalows were very large, ours had one queen bed and 2 twins. They are two stories, which makes the space seem more separated. The shower was great and there was also a bath tub to relax in. I never had a problem with not having enough hot water either. The room was well furnished and had a refrigerator. 

The pool was amazing, great bar, upbeat music, and fun atmosphere. It got pretty busy on weekends because the locals seemed to also know Levendi has a great pool.

Levendi has wonderful staff of people and is a great value!

I booked a trip here firstly because I wanted to view a property in the nearby town and secondly I wanted to visit a part of Greece I had never been before. I looked on the internet for accomodation and chose this hotel on the basis of it being a 4 star hotel (far from it, more like a 2 with 4 star prices) with a swimming pool that the kids could enjoy when they got bored. We were supposed to stay in their Bungalow accomodation (cant comment on what it was like) but were moved into a grotty family room in the main hotel basic and not to clean spring to mind and also the pool turned out to be closed for the season which they had previously forgot to tell us about. Breakfast was pitiful and my kids wouldn't eat there. The location meant that you had to get a taxi from the hotel into town if you wanted to eat out and a taxi back as the road was not very condusive to walking. The town was very quaint and the restaurants and cafes were all very nice and the people very friendly, if it wasn,t for this our holiday would have been a disaster. Kamena Vourla was very dated and would have been a nice place in its day but sadly since the new highway was built tourists seem to have passed it by  The beaches in the area were not very well kept but the water was fabulously clean, clear and surprisingly warm for October.

Unless your staying only one night then don't bother

I've stayed at the Levendi about five times since 1997, the last time in 2001.  It's a good stop-off point when you've driven from Athens and are waiting for a ferry to Skopelos, Alonnisos, or Skiathos.  The rooms are clean and comfortable, with refrigerator.  The rooms in the main building open into an atrium and have actually twp sleeping rooms separated by two good doors fron privacy, with equal access to the bathroom.  These are good for a couple with a child.The "bungalows" cost a bit less, and are typical shotgun motel rooms, and perfectly nice.  This complex is right on the National Road about a mile from Aghios Constantinos.  So you need to sleep with the soundproof doors closed.  There's a great pool for relaxing and a good bar right there.  On Saturday nights in summer, there's often a wedding going on.  Good or bad depending upon your point of view.  At Kamena Vourla about 3 miles away, there are some good tavernas on the water, and an excellent roasted meat reataurant in a garden setting on one of the morther end side streets. It's fun to relax by the pool in the late afternoon with a cocktail and watch the swallows come to drink from the pool.
