Corali Villas

We enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks here - lovely view and short walk down to the beach. It's stoney but only a handful of people used it and we enjoyed relaxing and swimming there. Only a 40 minute drive to the airport which is handy (can highly recommend Crete Lux Travel for a transfer). There are a few good tavernas within a few minutes walk - Kriti and Mikalis were good. Pool was great - plenty big enough to cool off in. Good air con in the lounge and bedrooms which cooled the rooms down really quickly. Twice weekly housekeeping and end of stay cleaning were included which was good. I would say car is optional. If you are not planning on travelling inland you can manage without. The villa is a few minutes walk from the coast road, along which the bus travels between Chania and Kissamos every 15 minutes. The local shop has a few essentials sometimes, but there are supermarkets along the bus route within 10 minutes. The Limounopolis water park, about 25 minutes drive was very good. The local road train was excellent for an inland trip to places you might not otherwise visit. If you have small children who would open a sliding patio door, I would say not suitable due to the unfenced pool, but great for older children. The manager Chrysa was on hand by text or e mail to help with any questions about things which was helpful too.
