Picking this place to stay was a great decision.  The owner contacted us to make sure of anything we needed prior to arriving.  Upon arrival she greeted us with homemade treats (which her mother who resides there made). Our room was perfect and clean.  The location was close (about 1 block) to beach and restaurants.  And about a 10 minute walk to downtown but along the way there are other places to shop and eat.  The owner sat down with us and helped arrange a rental car and the places to go see and those that are overrated.  She was an absolute delight.  If we go back we will definitely plan on staying here.  She has several accommodations so email her at villakaterinachania@gmail.com  The only concern I would have is that there is no elevator so if you have a problems with steps let her know that you need a ground floor.

Dora was an amazing hostess and she made us feel extremely welcome from the time we arrived. The studio was lovely and had everything we needed including a lovely balcony to eat on. The room was kept very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Delicious food and home baked goodies were an absolute delight. Location is excellent, 5 minutes from Nea Chora beach and 15 from Chania old town. Hoping to go back next year.

Great place to stay

Basically, you feel like home. 
Dora (owner) was wonderful, so welcoming and helpful. She always goes out of her way to make your stay extra special. 

We were welcomed with traditional Greek breakfast and Greek coffee. 
She always tops up the fruit basket with  fresh oranges/fruit. The most juiciest I’ve tasted.
She looked after us and made us feel like family.
The rooms are super clean, and daily cleaned too. The whole place is immaculate.

The location is fantastic. You are local to everything. The beach is a 2 minute walk (literally at your door step). The old town is around 7 minutes walking.

At your doorstep you will find a bakery, fruit market and mini supermarket.

I wouldn’t go else where! Thank you Dora for everything, see you next year  :)

Beyond excellent

Good location but proprietor did not speak english and did not accept cards only cash, but was very friendly. The room was basic but clean. It was not so much a villa as a room with kitchen and bathroom.

Central location

The owner doesn't speak english, only greek. It's not a villa, but an extra building with 7 flats.
The flat its really spacious and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Full furnished. 

The bathroom was with some problem on the  flush.

Really good location. Chania beach was only 10 min away walking.
