Lovely stay. Kristi is an excellent host who really looks after your every need. Great location in easy reach of bars/restaurants.  Have already talked about visiting again next year for a longer stay.

Short break

As we arrived in Poros, we had some difficult to find the location, but then we made it!
Kristi is a very nice person, she gave us full of care and attentions.
Her father is careful too, he helped us to fix a little problem we had by closing the window of the main (double) room.
The studio is very wide and provided with all facilities.
Kristi prepared herself the breakfast each morning and served it with plenty of suggests on places to visit.
We enjoyed very much spending our week in Poros and wish to come back to Kristi one day.


Kristi, lovely place to stay in Poros!

Couldn't recommend Krisi's bed and breakfast more.  We had 6 nights here, our first trip to Kefalonia.  She is so friendly and helpful, breakfasts were great, some mornings with homemade cake or spanakopita. Her family are friendly too!  Great location, literally 5 minute walk to the beach, tavernas all in walking distance. Room was fine, basic but comfortable, little balcony looking over the street, air conditioning, extra blankets, little kitchen area.  Krisit was also really helpful telling us about the island and she sorted our

Me and my husband were in the small room on the last floor,we had air-condicion free but we had just french balkony and bathroom was realy small and bad.Water was all around the floor when you are  showering ,they need curtain.And you will not have peace when Balkan fun agency comes with teenagers,they are  listening music all night long so you can't sleep.Kristi is very nice but she need to change those things.

Stayed here for a week and loved it..  Kirsty and her family are delightful, so friendly and welcoming and always there if we needed them.  Our room was very clean, spacious, well equipped and the beds were comfortable with soft pillows.  We had a balcony with lovely mountain views.  Air conditioning was free. Breakfast was typical Greek and very enjoyable, Kristi makes the most delicious cakes.  It is a 2 minute walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Poros is a very traditional resort, fairly quiet when we were there first week in July and a great place to chill.  Thank you Kristi and family for a wonderful week. Hope to see you again soon.

Fantastic holiday

I travelled with Cosmos in Aug/Sept on an allocation on arrival. On first sight (curtains hanging down from poles) I thought what a dump and first job find a decent place to stay. I was shown a room that was dark and did not smell too fresh but I thought oh well it's only for a week. I unpacked some tea bags to make a drink and found the cups and cutlery were filthy with grime and went to speak to Kristi. She apologised and I asked if there was another apartment I could move into, she then took me to another apartment where all the dishes etc were clean. This room overlooked the street but did have a balcony with table, chairs etc.  The apartments are in dire need of refurbishment with oversized furniture and a lick of fresh paint would work wonders.  The family are very pleasant indeed and nothing was too much trouble. I was told by Kristi that the apartments are being refurbished for next year and will serve breakfast etc. The village of Poros is typically Greek and as usual they are very friendly and a delight to speak to. Within a day or so, I was being greeted with Kalimeri and Yassau and asked how I was. After the initial shock of the apartments, Yes, I would stay here again and most certainly visit Poros again.

Tired and dated but........

We are extremely sad to be going home tomorrow morning after a wonderfully relaxing week in Poros.  What a pity we couldn't stay for two weeks this year!  We stayed in a lovely, spacious apartment with excellent facilities, very clean and with far more, and better, kitchen equipment than we have had in other Greek apartments (and being very fond of Greece, we have stayed in quite a few on various Greek islands).  Kristi is absolutely delightful and nothing was too much trouble.  Kristi and her family are very warm and welcoming and we shall certainly come back.  The only, very small, point to make is that if you have a room at the front, the road outside can be a bit noisy but this was easily sorted by closing the balcony doors at night and using the air-conditioning instead.  This was extra at the very reasonable price of 5 Euros a day - the last time we 
had air-conditioning was on Rhodes a couple of years ago and that set us back 8 Euros 
a day.   Poros is a working Port and is very traditional and has a wonderful feel about it.  The bars and restaurants offer excellent food and drinks at extremely fair prices.   All the Greek people we encountered were friendly and welcoming.  The pool bar and swimming pool at Paradise Apartments are a very pleasant place to go and relax, have a swim and an excellent lunch (the Greek Salad they serve there is the best we've ever had and, although we've had some really good salads in Greece before, this really was special!)  If this review sounds "over the top" you'll just have to go and holiday in Poros and find out for yourself what a gem this place is.

Kristi Apartments, Poros, Kefalonia

Perfect little gem hidden down a side street in the quiet village of Poros, We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which gave us a ground floor bedroom/kitchen/dining room and a first floor with 2 extra beds and bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet, you could literally hear a pin drop, bed changed once a week with lovely white cotton sheets and towels changed 3 times, Down sides to the apartment are just silly little things, would have been nice to have a toaster, there was no plug in the kitchen sink or bowl so very difficult to wash up, had to use the large saucepan as a washing up bowl, no washing up facilities, (dish cloth, scourer or tea towel), had to buy there things ourselves and although we only had breakfast in the room still had to wash up.  Kitchen cupboard on wall was too high for me to reach the plates, stood on chair or had to get hubbie to reach for me but then again i am only 5ft 2" tall.  Shower not the best as you have to hold it, it is not attached to the wall and the floor gets flooded, this bathroom is a cross between a wet room and a shower room and unfortunately as the floor floods this can cause problems.
Bed very comfy, mattress nice and firm, good nights sleep.  The room could have done with having an armchair to sit on instead of the bed, had dining room chairs or a stool but not the best for getting comfy, lovely hosts, Kristi and her parents are so nice and friendly, any problem big or small and they will sort it for you, This is  a fabulous family run establishment, everything about it is great and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Kristi and both of your parents for making our holiday a joyous one and we will be back.
