Fabulous stay, cannot fault it. Great location and the pool area was beautiful. Everything was spotless, the house keeper was fab. Never met the host but communication was good. Highly recommend this wonderful little place, we travelled as a family with a small child. 

Our stay at Magnolias apartments was absolutely wonderful. A beautiful building tastefully decorated with the comfiest beds and a fabulous location in a little village with a shop and one of the best restaurants 
on the island “The Old Stone house”
The swimming pool, table tennis and gym were amazing and we used the pool every day, it was so lovely and warm. 
Nancy is a wonderful host and her housekeeper is the best, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely return to Magnolias apartments in the future.

We found the Magnolia apartments following the hurricane which hit Kefalonia September 2020. We were staying in Assos which was badly affected by the storm so we had to find alternative accommodation.....what a gem of a find!! We stayed in a top floor loft which was very well equipped, tastefully decorated and very peaceful. The balcony provided lovely views to the surrounding countryside. The pool area is divine and from here there is access into a shaded garden area, complete with hammock. Nancy the owner made us feel so welcome despite what must of been a stressful time due to the devastation caused by the hurricane. She was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Across the road is a great taverna serving wonderful food, a shop is literally next door. We were so impressed by the property and all it had to offer that we have booked for September 2021, our 2 grown up sons will also be staying with us (we have booked a 2 bedroom apartment). We really are looking forward to our return visit.

This is our second time with Nancy at Magnolia Apartments.. The accommodation is superb, wonderful rooms, gorgeous pool, unbelievably clean, superb and very accommodating team that clean and freshen the rooms on a daily basis if you wish. It’s about a 2 mile walk into Fiskardo but it makes for a nice evening walk on the way down followed by a 5 euro taxi ride back. 
The restaurant To-Petrino is over the road which is lovely and also has amazing food (and reviews) compounded by the fact that it is not as expensive as the busy port of Fiskardo.. Great wifi both in the rooms and by the pool.. we will be back 

I would just echo Rupert H comments below.We stayed in the same apartment and it was exactly as he stated. I would highly recommend it and happily (hopefully) we will go back. We are also a family of 4.

Had a wonderful time here last week - our second stay and it won't be our last. For our '2 adults and 2 kids' family, the cross between a hotel and self-contained flat was ideal.  We stayed in number 5 both times; 2 good sized bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining/small sitting area (with fridge freezer, coffeee machine, kettle, toaster, etc), good shower room and 2 balconies to dry the towels and cossies. Excellent pool, well equipped gym, table tennis table (take your own balls though as they seem to melt in the sun!), easy parking and a lovely view (although not of the sea). The really comfy beds are made for you each day (and changed every 3), everyone we met there was helpful and kind - even the guests! - and although the property was full, it never seemed busy. Located slightly out of Fiskardo, but only a 5 minute drive and we much preferred this escape. A car is not entirely necessary as there is a little shop and restaurant very closely, but I would recommend it to reach all the wonderful beaches. Stay here, we had a great time and I'm sure you will too.

We booked 1 night here whilst on holiday in Lassi so that we could have dinner in Fiskardo and what a great little place this is. Yes it’s a fair way out but the taxi into Fiskardo was only 5 euros and it’s worth it. The room was gorgeous and had a huge very comfortable bed. It even had a fridge and Nancy the owner had left some lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine, fresh honey and a bottle of water. We didn’t use the pool area as we left early the next morning but it looked fantastic. It’s in a beautiful setting and a real little hidden gem. You can tell that Nancy takes great pride in providing a high quality service and if I was passing that way again I would definitely stay again.

We love staying at Magnolia, the rooms are a high quality with king beds and quality mattresses. 

The pool feels exclusive with all day sun, plenty of shade too if needed. We had it all to ourselves for the majority of the time.

Location wise, you are about a 10 minute drive to Fiscardo (which can be quite touristy) and there are plenty of beaches to visit. I wouldn’t stay here without a car, it’s needed. There are no street lights between Fiscardo and Magnolia so a walk back would be a struggle (all uphill too).

Facilities include a gym and a meditation area.

The room stayed in was on the second floor, as per my request, large, and sparkling clean.
The king bed was extremely comfortable. 
The small balcony has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The person in charge, Nancy, is very responsive and accommodating. 
There is a receptionist on-site only from 9:00-12:00. Outside those hours, you must call. The check-out is 9:00-11:00. Unfortunately, even in a small village such as Antipata, and out of season, one can't escape noise pollution. Since Magnolia Apartments is located on the main road, there was loud traffic until midnight. There's also noise from other - inconsiderate- guests. There is private parking. Perhaps there are actual apartments somewhere, but I had an en-suite room with balcony. There were exactly 4 bags of tea but no sugar or teaspoons, a coffee machine but no coffee. The WiFi download speed was 4.4 Mbps, which is rather low. I rate this accommodation "very good" only considering the price deal I got; the regular rate is too steep for what it offers.

We booked a studio on the top floor. The beds are very comfortable and new, the airco works well and the small kitchen area allows you to make tea and breakfast etc. The pool is clean and well maintained. The downside was that the bathroom is not as shown as on the pictures (on booking.com they inserted a picture of a different bathroom). It is literally tiny and almost impossible to stand up straight if you are above 175cm. Also, we missed the personal touch. The owner barely communicated - whereas we made very lovely contacts with other hotel owners of different accommodations on the island (we did a road trip). Here the typical Greek hospitality was missing quite a bit. For the rest we had a very nice time there.
