I can't think of anything that wasn't perfect about this small hotel. Our room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The staff are amazing,  so helpful, friendly and efficient.  We had breakfast in the 'sister' hotel where we were offered a huge range of delicious breakfast dishes. Staying in the old town was another great positive, close to the waterfalls and park. We can highly recommend this hotel and we hope that you would find it as wonderful as we did.

A perfect place to stay

This smaller 'cousin' of the Varosi 4 Seasons is an absolute charmer. Perfect location in Edessa so as to stroll through the old Varosi neighborhood and walk to the local Waterfalls and city center. Would have no hesitations on returning there for another stay!

Hidden Jewel in a Crown of a City!

Located at the old part of Edessa, near the waterfall and city center. room in nice and cosy. Breakfast is at the Varosi hotel very near. The area is beautiful we surely reccomend it. nearby free parking, we were upset we did not buy the home made jam selling there.


Beautiful small place, located in an old building, owner is charming!

Rooms are not very big, but there is a common room and terrace for relaxing. All is nicely decorated. Breakfast is in another building 20 meters access the street and is really very delicious. Friendly staff.

Nice authentic hotel.

Arrived late  to this little oasis. Comfortable  rooms clean and inviting. Only downside is that they are small. Lovely terrace . Excellent small meals and snacks offered. Breakfast at sister hotel was excellent. Moreover lovely staff especially one of the owners " Elena ' at reception. She was truly delightful 

A night in Edessa

The room my wife and I had was adequately sized, clean and comfortable.  The bed was very firm which I prefer.  Very nice common seating area and common balcony.  The breakfast was cooked to order and very good.  

Good Value

Located at the old part of Edessa it is very convenient in order to visit the waterfalls and the city center as well. It is traditionally furnished and the beakfast is served to the Varosi Four Seasons establishment nearby. The problem is that some of the rooms are really very small even for one person.This happened to our company and the behaviour of the owner was not the appropriate one, even rude i could say .I am reffering to room Nr. 4 and therefore please be carefull not to book a room like this. 
Also i would like to add   that there is no elevator for the upper rooms and no one helped us with the baggages.

Nice choice but...

After a very warm welcome things went a bit downhill. It's hard to be critical in this case but if my review is not honest there's no point to it. The room was too small to be comfortable and I was travelling solo. The bathroom was way too small. It was quite inexpensive but that did not make up for the discomfort. The other rooms might have been a bit more comfortable but I will never know. No insult is intended toward my hostess but the facility was just not adequate for me.

Warm welcome but ...

We stayed at the Varosi Guesthouse for 4 nights in May 2019 on bed and breakfast basis for 60 Euros per night.
The guest house is located in the old part of Edessa close to the Centre of the town and is very convenient for visiting the waterfalls which are the main attraction in Edessa. Breakfast is served in the nearby Varosi Four Seasons Hotel because the Guesthouse has no dining room.
The Guest House is quite small, furnished in traditional Greek ethnic style and is a two story building with quite steep stairs and no lift. It would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility problems. There is a kitchenette on the ground floor to heat food and small seating areas on the first floor for relaxing. The bedroom was comfortable and clean but was SMALL as was the bathroom, there was just enough space to get round the bed but not much else. If you are looking for a spacious bedroom with table and chair and somewhere you can soak in the bath, then perhaps this is not the ideal booking for you. The receptionist was very pleasant and the breakfast at the Four Seasons was excellent, and Edessa town is beautiful with the sounds of the rivers and streams like never ending music
