Kerkyra Beach Apartments

So, this is my 2nd time in Corfu. 6th time in Greece. Umpteenth time traveling. Let’s get down to basics. Housing. Nice studio-like rooms. Excellent bathrooms. Like, you get a proper shower cabin and not that shower-over-the-toilet type of thing which is prevalent in the hotter climates. Washing machines - a nice touch and a necessity if you’re staying for a long time (we stayed for 16 days). You get comfy mattresses, pillows and sheets - all changed at least 2 times a week. Breakfast - come on, people, do you really eat a full breakfast - eggs, bacon, biscuits and a whole lot of other things at home? Maybe you do, but Do you really have time for that on vacation? You get your cereal, you get your boiled egg, local delish pastries, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, bread. Juices. Water. Yes, coffee isn’t from an espresso machine. You can drink it like locals do - instant from a dry powder, mix equal parts with milk and sugar - or take a short walk to the village center and get a cappuccino Freddo there. The Pool is cleaned regularly. Staff is always willing to help. We arrived at 8am and were in our room by 9:30, even though the check-in Time was at 1pm. In our previous accommodation we were told to go and enjoy the beach for several hours. Here, they went out of their way to let us rest after a red-eye flight. The Internet connection in our room was a bit shaky, but we didn’t come here to use the internet. We came here to enjoy the splendor that is Corfu and the accommodations were perfect for that. If you want the boring, all-inclusive vacation for a sky-high price (and zero local flavor) - search elsewhere. Kerkyra Beach is no less enjoyable than another place we stayed last year - and which had much higher reviews. I want to remedy that and would recommend Kerkyra Beach apartments and studios for people traveling with families especially.
