I would HIGLHY recommend that you stay at Michalis wonderful studios in Amrogos ! Not only the host is the most kind, attentionnate and helpful host I have ever had, but also the location of the studios is just PERFECT... 5/10 min walk to the port (restaurants, supermarket...) but in a really quiet and wonderful area with a GORGEOUS view on the sea. I was staying at Dimitrias Studio wich was perfectly clea, spacious, with a big balcony and every facilities you would possibly need ! Michalis was really nice and helpful with everything, advising on the car rental, things to visit, boat hours... The price you pay for such a magic experience is really REALLY worth it, go for it you won't regret it !

Magic days in Amorgos !

We have had the time of our lives in Amorgos! This place and its view is absolutely splendid. Breakfasts on the terrace were just perfect and one of the best part of the days. Highly recommended to anyone who searches for peace and privacy. 

Best place ever! 

We stayed four nights at the Agios Pavlos Studios, one night longer than planned (we fell in love with Amorgos and decided to extend our stay). Michalas and Ophelia were the most gracious hosts, and arranged for us to move into another studio for the final night. They were always easy to contact via phone or text. We loved the simplicity of the rooms, the breeziness, and the spectacular views. Agios Pavlos beach (a three-minute walk) is beautiful and a quick swim across to the Nikouria Island affords an incredible panorama on the main island. The beds are comfortable, there is plenty of space to get settled, and it is a quick drive (we had scooters) from Aegiali. Amorgos is magical... we look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful stay!

The view from the studios is really amazing, I could sit there and stare at the sea and Nikouria Island for hours... :) The studios itself are nice, but very simple... they might need some renovation in the next years, but they are still very nice and perfectly ok. The owner Mihalis is such a nice guy, really a pleasure to chat with him about everything. The positive note is that the island finally fixed the phone line to the studios so there is internet inside the rooms!!! And it is super fast and reliable, which is great! And just a couple of downsides, but not really necessities... one is that there was no TV in our room which usually would not be an issue, but it was world cup when we were there :). And second is that during our 8 nts stay the room was cleaned and the towels and sheets were changed only once, which it is mentioned on their website so we can't complain, but still, it would be nice to have it changed at least twice and have somebody to sweep the floors and take out garbage every day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Agios Pavlos Studios and would still recommend it to all our friends.

The view sells it all!!!

We were waited for at the port by Michalis, the owner of the place. He also arranged a car for us. You need one, the place is too far from the village Aegiali to walk. But than it is quite and peaceful there at Agios Pavlos bay and the view from the studio is breathtaking. The studio looks so fancy and modern and styleful, looks even better than on the photos (newly painted too), but it was not all that clean. Michalis had somebody new for the cleaning, but she still has to learn to clean properly. We stayed there for 5 days and we enjoyed our stay so much. Michalis was checking on us nearly every day if we need anything. Recommended.

Perfect and what a view.

This apartment is quite isolated from other towns and very quiet, you only hear nature and that's what we wanted. (it was still before high-season) The owners were very friendly and we were able to communicate with WhatsApp so it was easy to check-in and out. 

The apartment itself is more like 2 stars but the view and tranquillity are 5 stars+. the bathroom was one of the worst I ever used but the view from the balcony compensated everything. My rate would be 3.5 to be precise instead of 3. 

Bathroom: very outdated. the floor flooded everytime we used the shower. The shower head was too high and can't change the angle also water pressure was unstable. Toilet needed trick to flush,  window was broken and needed trick to open/close... there was a hook to hang towels but too small, towels kept dropping to the floor so we had to dry towels in living area. Also the bathroom was quite small considering the size of room. 

Room: No TV but no one need it these days. Internet was OK, network speed weakened sometime but it's normal for small islands in Greek. Bed was comfortable and 2single mattress being one double bed made us slept better. No hairdryer but again you don't care much if you are there for beach holiday. 
We wish they provided us more mosquito protection stuff. Air-con was not needed when we stayed so not sure if it works properly. 
It would been nicer if there's a sofa. There are only table/chairs or beds so we had to lie down on beds when we wanted to chill. 

Kitchen: Decent for holiday apartment. Enough equipments and we appreciated they had Mokapod so we could make proper coffee. Fridge was old but Freezer made proper ice and big enough to freeze 1.5L water bottle! 
Coffee cups were small (wish there were mugs!) and no wine glasses. We used small glasses to drink wine which was still ok. 

Balcony: Stunning view, the best balcony I ever had in my life. It was nice not to be next to next door's balcony so we both had privacy. The only problem was there weren't enough drying line/space for beach holiday apartment to hang our laundry. We had to buy pegs to kept our laundry secure.  

Cleaning: they changed towels every 2 days and cleaned/fresh bed sheets every 3 days. Linens and towels were clean but not luxury. 

Overall: the room was decent size and we were quite comfortable apart from bathroom. We didn't feel overpriced and still enjoyed our stay.

I think most of people would feel the same, this apartment is just functional and comfortable enough but you forget all negative stuff once you are in balcony. I think it's not easy to fix all outdated areas in this island.

We still recommend this apartment :)

Stunning view from balcony but little outdated 

We are speaking about Elektra apartements located in Aegiali
First of all, we had to anticipate the 50% of total amount, and this fact is completely abnormal according to our ten-years experience in located apartments in Greece.
Furthermore, we had to pay an extra night only because we arrived late in the night (at 2 a.m.), but this is the scheduled time of arrival of the main ship from Athens.
We found ourselves the not simple way to reach the apartment (we found an angry taxi driver who took us from Mrs. Elektra to Langada!) and we were shocked to find an hovel rather than a vacation apartment: everywhere bad smell and dirt; the furnitures of the kitchen were broken with loppy electricity cables, the bedframe was without some elements; there were crushed insects on the wall of the rooms, ecc… (just look at my photos!)
The next day the owner came (but why did we pay for one more night if no one welcomed us?), we said to him that We did not want to stay in that nightmare. Obviously, he asked us to remain, assuring us that he would clean the apartment, but It would have been necessary to do much more than just cleaning!! He also told us that he had no alternative. We decided to go away since we did not want to spoil a so desired holiday.
Afterwards, we asked him to to get the refund of the advance which obviously denied us. 
The owner has even complained that he has not been able to re-rent the apartment in those days. Buongiorno
Finally he told us that, given the low price rent, we should have been satisfied... 
Whereas, for a little euros more, we found a beautiful accommodation with standards of cleaning and maintenance conform to the "civilised world".
