Very nice place. The hotel is really very nice and staff very friendly.
Our bedroom (for 3 persons) was huge. Our adult daughter did not have to share our room as she had a place for herself. In fact, our bedroom looked more like an appartment than like a room.
We had twice dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was really delicious.

Fantastic atmosphere, great staff and amazing food.  This was a great place to escape the extreme heat today and just relax on the edge of the forest.  I ordered a weiner kalbschnitzel and it was cooked to perfection.  They also brought me a few pieces of cold cuts for my dog.  A must if you are in the area

Great Hidden Gem

I stayed two nights in a triple room with my family for a short skitrip to Feldberg. The hotel has a good location with a nice view of the lake and surroundings. The room itself was a little bit outdated, in particular the third bed was not a normal bed and therefore not very comfortable for sleeping. On the positive the room was rather big and the bathroom was ok as well. Breakfast was ok but lacked choice in terms of vegetables. The hotel also has a restaurant which is convenient if you do not want to go out after a long ski-day.

Good location with nice views, rather old rooms

We booked about a month ahead for our trip to Titisee. The owners seemed charming and helpful - and said they would have a travel cot for our 1 yr old son. When we arrived, they told us that no travel cot was available as they had given it away to a family who had unexpectedly turned up. No apology or any sense of responsibility. We asked to see the room and it was shabby - and stank if cats!  When sir told term we needed to find somewhere with s travel cot they told us we had half an hour to decide. Wouldn't recommend them at all. Avoid at all costs - Hotel Rauchfang is much better.
