Jugendherberge Frankfurt - Haus der Jugend

Great hostel to stay in. Breakfast was excellent, beds comfortable and spacious. Location is great, and lots of rooms available it seems. Common sitting area was good, enough space to work and spread out if needed or have a meeting. The vibe and meeting other people sense isn't really there, more again a place to sleep and not much else. Because it's a DJH property, there were groups of kids and teens passing through on school trips, which was a bit disruptive a few nights. Also, the rooms themselves are good but a bit tight. Not super tight but a bit more space would be nice (I had a 4 bed). Also, you'll find most roommates are Germany, and unless you're in Female only spaces, they are men. Bathroom in the room was good, but only 1 toilet and 1 shower. There are more toilets in the basement area. Good stay overall, staff were friendly and helpful, and depending on who was on staff spoke multiple languages. I would consider staying here again just for the amenities.
