I was at this Gasthof end of may on a business travel. bathroom is awful, it's a plastic box and when you have a shower the curtains lays on your body... no hygienical and very very terrible. Wi-fi was not running properly neither in the restaurant nor in the rooms, you waste a lot of time waiting for connection......
Menu is repeating every day the same  and overall meat. Hotel is not chip, some other guys spent that period in the city centre of Nuremberg paying the same sum. The landlady is quite unpolite... I don't think I will be back in this hotel any more.......

no wi-fi and nightmare bathroom

I stayed in this hotel (or guest house) for 2 nights and 3 days.
The staff is very welcoming. The service was instantaneous. I did not have to wait for check in time to have my room. They were also flexible concerning the check out time. They asked me if the check out time suited me, in fact.
The room is clean, and the hotel offers free wifi in the lobby and the rooms.
The hotel restaurant offers the delicious sausages and other platters from bayern (rib-eye steak, white sausage, Schnitzel, etc...)
The breakfast, however, was not brilliant and consisted of a continental breakfast. Bread is nevertheless very tasty.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant.

Cosy House and Delicious Cuisine

This review is for the benefit of people who may not speak German very well.  I have stayed at this hotel twice, and both times the rooms have been clean and well maintained.  My room (both times) was in the back building across the parking lot from the main hotel.  There is no elevator and the rooms are on the third floor.

*Free Wi-Fi is offered here! - I had some issues with my iPhone and iPad not always keeping the connection and I had to re-login from time to time.  But Free is good, and it was fast, I had no problem with FaceTime or any video streaming like you do in many hotels.

Breakfast is small compared to other hotels I have stayed in Erlangen, but the food is good and the staff is friendly.  If you are in a hurry, there is a bakery down the street.

Dinner - good quality, the restaurant is pretty crowded most days.  I did not get an English menu, but I also did not ask for one.  Down the street (short walk) you can get a Donor Kabab or Pizza.

There is a bank next door if you need to get money from the machine.  You can select English on the machine, and I had no issue with my ATM card.

I took a cab here from the town center - cost me 13 Euro plus tip.
There is a bus stop in front of the Hotel as well.
