Centro Hotel Residence

Centro Hotel Residence is located 3-min walk away from bus station where bus SB60 from Cologne-Bonn Airport alighted me. It is 5-min walk away from the train station where I took a train to Cochem subsequently. Beethoven statue and Beethoven Haus were about 5-min walk away too. There was a street full of cherry blossom (unsure if flowers are still blooming), about 8-min walk away from hotel, don’t miss it. The decor seemed to suggest that hotel could have been completed some 30 -40 years ago, at least. If you are an early-riser, there are a few coffee/pastry outlets that are open from as early as 6am, for example, the one that is located at the bus station itself. The pastries there are yummy!!! There is also a supermarket, about 5-minute walk away. “Wok In”, an Asian eatery, I believe some food may be halal too but unsure (please check), very popular with the locals, is located near the supermarket, about 7-min walk away from hotel. I read a few not-too-positive earlier reviews by other TA members. However, I wanna share my experience about hotel front desk staff - Mr Osama. He is patient, helpful and has a warm heart.
