Anni runs a great place. You can spend some pleasant time in the family courtyard under the grapevines. The house is within walking distance of the centre of town which makes it very practical nevertheless it is nice and quiet.

He is not just taking you to all!!! the places in Khaheti but doing it with all of his big heart and make you to understand an incredible history of this amazing country! True friendly and warmest people we met ever!

The best place in Khaheti!

For me, it was an impromptu decision to head towards Telavi from Kazbegi. It was a little difficult to find at first, being in one of the side lanes, however, once I entered, the apprehensions disappeared. The hosts are just amazing, and their children are a delight. Anna speaks good English, although Giorgii does not, he is very helpful in finding out the right transport for your ongoing travel, if you speak a little Russian/Kartuli, it would be an immense help!
I asked them for a transport to take me around, and they got me an excellent driver named ... of course, Giorgii (I think half of all Georgian males are indeed called Giorgii) and he was such a wonderful companion for the afternoon. Almost everything in Telavi is quite close, the citadel, old town, the bus stand and food joints all withing comfortable walking distance, although, you may not enjoy the hike up back to the guesthouse (a comfortable upward sloping road!).. overall, lovely> If I am coming back to Telavi, definitely staying here, AGAIN! Thank you

Beautiful hosts!! Quiet location close to the City Centre/Attractions

The hosts are very kind, and understood perfectly our comforts. When we decided to stay in, and enjoy the cool night air on the balcony, they supplied us with homemade wine for the evening.  The room and bathroom are simple but excellently clean and comfortable, and we slept very peacefully in the quiet neighborhood. In the morning, we saw that we had a nice view of the region, and could even see the mountains, very pretty. The courtyard is flowering nicely, and the hosts love to tell you about any flower you see. Breakfast was simple and tasty, bread, cheese, fruit, and when I mentioned that I had enjoyed local pickled flowers, Mari produced a plate for my breakfast, which she told me was homemade. Delicious. A great stay.

Comfortable stay, kind hosts, quiet yet convenient location

The guest house is 5-10 minutes walking distance from city centre. The caretakers(Anna and Giorgii) are friendly and helpful. Its comfortable, well-maintained and clean- perfect for expeditions in and around Telavi. Linens and towels are ample and clean. You can always ask fora taxi to be called or simply walk down to the city centre.
I was there for a day and ate outside, so I can't comment on the food. Great value for money!

Mari, who speaks english very well -she worked in irland years ago- is very helpfull. She will help you allso for your trip to the mountains or for trips around Telavi.
